Hiccup waited til he heard Stoick fall asleep. Then he went through the window and began to run.

Hiccup ran through the alleyways and streets. Finally he reached his destination: the church his mother took him too. The one he still attended every Thursday night. Stoick didn't know this.

When he got there the first hymn was just starting. He slipped into his normal pew and pulled out the hymnal and began to sing.

Astrid looked around the church. Normally her family went on Sunday mornings but her dad had a conference that next Sunday so they went tonight.

Suddenly she saw Hiccup in one of the last pews, his head bowed as he listened to the sermon. Astrid didn't know that he was a member at their church. When she thought back she began to feel guilty. They had gotten confirmed together.

She'd have to talk to him later.

After the service Hiccup decided to talk to the Pastor.

"Pastor Banke?" he asked.

"Good evening Hiccup. What can I help you with?"

"May I talk to you? Alone?" 

"Sure. Meet me at my office in 20 minutes."

"Will do." Hiccup said, "I'm going to go outside for a bit."

"Okay. Are you fine Hiccup?" Pastor Banke asked with genuine concern.

"Yeah. I'll talk to you later."

"Okay. Remember 20 minutes."

"Okay. I'll be back in 10."

Pastor Banke smiled, "That'll work."

Then Hiccup went outside and began to walk around.

"Hey Hiccup." Someone said.

Hiccup turned and said, "Hey Astrid. Normally don't see you here."

"Yeah we usually go on Sundays."

"Oh."

They both fell silent before Astrid said, "So. Do you want to hang out sometime?"

Hiccup was taken aback, "S-Sure. Just let me know when."

"Will do. See you tomorrow."

Then Astrid left Hiccup to think.

He still had 5 minutes so he began to walk across the crosswalk to get to the park across the street.

Valka use to take Hiccup to that park every Sunday after church.

The light turned so he began to walk across the crosswalk when a car came running through the red light. 

Hiccup felt the wind pass him as he flew through the air. Suddenly he hit the pavement.

"HICCUP!" he heard some people cry.

The next thing that Hiccup knew was that Pastor Banke was hovering over him.

"Hiccup stay with me. SOMEONE CALL 9-1-1!"

Hiccup's vision began to blur and soon he fell unconscious, people saying words of prayer and comfort.

Hey people! 

Look the chapter is up on time! Wow, I actually followed my schedule.

So this idea popped into my head when I was at my cousin's graduation service at church tonight.
