Missing: Rachel Amber

Chapter 2

   Rachel walked down the dark path in the middle of the woods calling someone's name as loud as she could. "Nathaniel." She yelled as he popped out of the bushes. "Hey gorgeous." He said as he hugged her. "Don't scare me like that." Rachel snapped at him. "Sorry, I just wanted to surprise you that's all. Did you pack all your stuff?" He asked. "Yep, including these." Rachel said as she pulled out a small paper bag of drugs from her duffle bag. "Nice, that's my girl." Nathaniel said with a smile. "I still don't feel right about this." Rachel said with a shaky tone in her voice. "You know what's going to happen to the town soon, it's better we get out of there now." Nathaniel said as they looked off the mountain at the town. "I left my best friend behind all for this, can we still bring her with us?" Rachel asked. "No, only us two, we're gonna need each other." Nathaniel replied as they both got into his truck. "Here's to our new life." Rachel said as she pulled out a flask of whiskey and they both drank it, and drove down the road far away from the town.

   As they both finally approached the town, they were welcomed by a sign saying "Welcome To Hill Valley." "Are you sure about this?" Rachel asked. "I'm sure, it's the best for us." Nathaniel replied as he turned on the radio and the news was on. "Two teens have been reported missing from Beaverton Meadows and could possibly be in danger, Rachel Amber and Nathanael Whittaker." The news caster said as Nathaniel shut the radio off as quickly as he could. "Their looking for us, what are we gonna do?" Rachel asked in fear. "I know what we're gonna do, and you're not gonna like it." Nathaniel said. "Why, what is it?" Rachel asked with a confused look on her face. "We're gonna stage our own deaths, then this will all be over, and we can live a normal life together." Nathaniel said. "How in the world can we do that?" Rachel asked as they pulled into a parking lot in front of a motel. "It's gonna start right here." Nathaniel replied.

   Rachel and Nathaniel said at the front desk waiting for the man to give them their keys. "Here are your keys, wait a second, you are one gorgeous girl." The clerk said with a smile as he handed Rachel the keys. "Thank you." Rachel replied with a smile as they walked up the steps to their room. They opened up the door, and they both jumped onto the bed. "We need to rest, just for one night." Rachel said with a tired voice. "But tomorrow night is the night we do this." Nathaniel said with a serious look on his face. "You don't even have a plan, what are we gonna use to do this?" Rachel asked. "Trust me, I have a plan." Nathaniel said as he pulled out his name brand duffle bag, and took out a container of gasoline, matches, and fake blood. "So we're gonna burn the half the motel down, their gonna look for our bodies." Rachel said. "Not if we get two dead bodies of our own." Nathaniel replied with a smirk on his face. "Come on Nathaniel, don't go over board here, were not gonna kill anyone." Rachel said with a surprised look on her face. "There's a morgue right down the street, we can go tonight so nobody sees us taking the bodies out." Nathaniel said. "Ugh, just once I'd like to rest." Rachel said with a laugh as she threw her head on the pillow, as Nathaniel did the same.

   It was two am, and Rachel and Nathaniel were slowly sneaking out of the motel to the truck. "I really hope we don't get caught." Rachel said as they both hopped into the truck. "We won't, trust me." Nathaniel replied as he started up the truck and began to drive down the street. "We owe that guy money for the drugs, it's been over a month, he's gonna come and kill us don't forget." Rachel said. "Don't you worry baby, I'm stacked with cash." Nathaniel said as he pulled into the parking lot of the morgue. They both ran into the back, and approached the door. "Don't worry, I got this." Rachel said as she pulled a bobby pin out her beautiful long blonde hair and stuck it inside the lock, and began to move it around. "Who taught you this?" Nathaniel asked. "Self taught." Rachel replied as she opened up the door. "We need one guy, and one girl, that's all." Nathaniel said we he opened up the slot, and pulled out the male body. "I think I'm gonna be sick." Rachel said as she grabbed the female body as began to carry it to the door as quickly as she could almost dropping it, as Nathaniel did the same. The threw both bodies inside the giant bags and put them in the trunk of the car. "Perfect." He said as they both got into the truck, and the alarm into the morgue began to go off. "Crap, we need to go!" Rachel said as Nathaniel drove out of the parking lot as fast as he could.

   As they both pulled into the motel parking lot, they both grabbed the bodies and ran up the steps into their room. "Their gonna start rotting soon, we need ice." Rachel said as they looked at the bodies in disgust. "Let's hide them in the bathroom in the tub, with ice cold water, then we can add ice to the water." Nathaniel said as the threw both of the bodies in the tub. "I can't believe we actually did all of this." Rachel said in disbelief. "Well believe it, we should be proud of ourselves." Nathaniel said as he stared into Rachel's beautiful hazel eyes. "Let's watch some TV." Rachel said as she flipped on the news. "Two bodies have been reported missing from the Hill Valley morgue, the two suspects have remained unknown due to bad security footage." The woman said as Rachel shut the TV off. "Thank god, thanks to the sucky security footage, we won't get caught!" Nathaniel said with a smile. "I think I've had enough of this crazy crap for the day." Rachel said as she lied down on the bed. "Are you sure you're ready to do all this?" Nathaniel asked as he lied down next to her. "Yeah, it's just hard." Rachel said as she pulled up her shirt to look at the bruise her father gave her when he beat her. "What's that from?" Nathaniel asked. "It's from my dad, he used to abuse me." Rachel said with a sad tone as she pulled her shirt down. "Thank god you got out of there, I'm sorry you had to go through all of that." Nathaniel said as he looked at Rachel with pity. "Thanks, it's all over now." Rachel said as Nathaniel grabbed her face and kissed her. "I love you so much Rachel." He said. "I love you too." Rachel replied with a smile.

   It was ten am, and Rachel was wide awake staining at the ceiling, thinking about Jenna and how much she missed her. She pulled out a picture out of her pocket and unfolded it. It was a picture of her and Jenna from when they were kids. "What's that?" Nathaniel asked as Rachel jumped in fear. "Jesus, you scared me, I didn't know you were awake." Rachel said as she tried to catch her breath. "I'm wide awake baby, let's get to work." Nathaniel replied as he jumped out of the bed. "I feel like we should wait a little after this, maybe we could live here." Rachel said. "Rachel, come on, it's a motel for Christ's sake." Nathaniel said as he grabbed a water out of the fridge. "This whole burning thing is gonna cause major trouble." Rachel said with a serious look on her face. "But everyone will think we're dead." Nathaniel replied. "I don't even understand why you ran away from you're home, you had the perfect life, and tons of money." Rachel said as she rolled her eyes. "I did this for you, only for you, and you know it." Nathaniel replied as he slicked his hair back. "I just don't understand sometimes, I need some air." Rachel said as she opened up the door to the room and walked outside out on the balcony.

   Rachel walked inside the room and saw Nathaniel pouring gasoline all around the room, with the two bodies on the floor. "Are you ready?" He asked. "I guess so." Rachel replied as they heard police sirens all outside the motel, with flashing lights through the windows. "Ok, get ready to run!" Nathaniel said as he threw the lit match on the ground, and they both darted out of the motel room, as they saw the police surrounding the area outside of the motel.
