Missing: Rachel Amber

Chapter 5

Jenna, Dana, Stella, Juliet and Courtney all sat around on the floor making up a plan to stop Rachel's dad, Scott. "Let's just leave him alone for now, until he does something serious or out of this world, then we deal with him." Stella said. "No way. We need to get answers out of him straight away, we can find out where Rachel is." Jenna said. "This is risky, there's nothing we can do to get the answers out of him." Juliet said with a serious look on her face as she looked out the window across the street and saw Taylor getting out of her car. "Looks like Taylor is back." Dana said as they heard the doorbell ring downstairs. "Don't worry my mom will get it." Jenna said. "This man is a threat, I'm with Jenna. I say we stop him and get the answers we need out of him. Then, you know the rest." Courtney said. "Were gonna sneak into his house first, and get all the clues we can find out of Rachel's room." Jenna said as all of the girls agreed.

As Jenna and the three other girls stood in front of Rachel's house, she saw both parents were gone. "I don't feel right about this." Stella said with a shaky voice. "We're gonna be fine, I promise. I doubt their coming home anytime soon." Jenna said as she walked through the side gate of their house, and sneaked to the back of the house with the other girls following. "The back door is open." Juliet said as she walked inside the house. "We need to stay quiet, so the neighbors don't here us." Jenna said as they all walked in Rachel's house and ran straight up into Rachel's room. "Find whatever you can." Dana said as she started rooting through the cabinets. "Oh my god, who is this?" Stella asked as she showed everyone the picture she was holding of Rachel with another man. "That's Ronnie, he's a scumbag druggy she used to talk to." Jenna said as she stared at the picture. "I didn't think they were this friendly. Here's another picture of them kissing." Stella said as she showed everyone the second picture. "They were never this friendly, and Rachel looks high as a kite in that picture." Jenna said in confusion. "And then, there's this one." Stella said with a shaky voice and she showed everyone the third picture, which was Rachel passed out on the floor wearing only her bra and underwear. "What the hell is this?" Jenna screamed as she grabbed the picture out of Stella's hands causing her to jump. "Be quiet! Before someone hears us!" Dana said as she tried to calm Jenna down. "Ronnie is dead, she's drugged out in this picture. And parts of her body look red. He's done." Jenna said in anger as she punched the wall. "Just calm down, we can help you." Juliet said with a smile. "This is probably why she's gone, he had to force her to do things she didn't want to." Jenna said with tears filling in her eyes. "Don't think of it like that right away until you find out the truth. For all you know she liked him." Stella said. "She didn't like him. She's not like this, she wouldn't fool around with a creep like him." Jenna said as she tried to calm herself down. "We're getting closer and closer to finding her Jenna. This is a good thing." Dana said with a smile. "We need to go confront this idiot right now, and then later we can return." Jenna said as she walked out of Rachel's room and the rest of the girls followed.

Cathleen was outside with her co worker Renee on break. "Thank god the rain held off." Renee said as she looked into the sky. "Yeah, weather is weather, it's just another day." Cathleen said with a tired voice. "How's Jenna?" Renee asked as Rachel's dad came out of no where with anger in his face. "What's wrong?" Cathleen asked as she stood up from the chair she was sitting in. She noticed his banged leg also. "I was shot, by your daughter. And I'm sure of it." He yelled in anger. "And why do you think it was my daughter?" Cathleen asked with an angry look on her face. "She's been snooping around, I see the little prick. I'll squish her look a bug if I see that little imbecile around me again." Scott yelled in anger. "Don't you ever accuse my daughter of something like this again you idiot alcoholic." Cathleen yelled as she began to get into his face. "Come on, calm down." Renee said as she put her hand on Cathleen's back, but Cathleen already shoved Scott onto the ground. "Go to hell." Cathleen mumbled as they both left Scott lying on the ground. "I'll kill all of them." Scott said to himself.

Taylor was lying in her bed thinking about the day she saw Rachel's face, knowing she can't tell anyone, including Jenna. The thought began to drive her crazy, and knowing everyone will think Rachel is dead soon, even though she isn't, it killed her inside and she felt nothing but guilt about it. She knew if she told someone, something bad was going to happen to her, and she didn't want to find out what it was going to be. As she looked in the mirror at herself, she began to fix her blonde bangs, and the fix the makeup on her face, since it was getting dark out, the weather began to cool down, so she slid on her denim jacket. As she looked outside her window, she saw Jenna and the others walking, and she quickly ran downstairs.

As Jenna and the others were walking to her house, Taylor ran outside and met up with them. "Hey, do you mind if I tag along with you guys?" Taylor asked. "Of course not, come on. We're going somewhere." Jenna said as she got into her car, Dana sat in the passenger seat, and the other three girls sat in the back. "Are we ready for this?" Stella asked. "Trust me, were ready." Juliet replied as Jenna began driving to Ronnie's house. "Ready for what exactly?" Taylor asked. "I think Ronnie has something to do with Rachel missing, we're gonna get all the answers we can out of this ass wipe tonight." Jenna said as she was driving faster. "Oh, okay." Taylor replied with a nervous tone in her voice. "You okay, Tay?" Juliet asked. "Yes, I'm fine." Taylor replied with a fake smile. "Just prepare yourselves, this guy is dangerous and he isn't anything to mess around." Jenna said as she got distracted by a man waiting by the stoplight. "Who's that creep?" Dana asked as she looked closely and it was Rachel's dead watching them with an angry look on his face. "Just keep driving." Stella said as she stared at the man in fear.

Jenna pulled up into Ronnie's drive way. His house was small and he had junk on his porch. "His house looks like a dirt bag, figures." Juliet said as she put lip gloss on and got out of the car. Jenna and the others approached the porch of his house. "Are you sure you wanna do this, prepare yourself first. It's ok if you aren't ready for this Jenna." Dana said with a smile. "No, I'm ready. We need answers, right now. Or else we might never ever find out." Jenna replied as Juliet looked at her phone in fear. "Juliet, what's wrong?" Stella asked as she looked at her in confusion. "Stel, are you alright?" Taylor asked as she put her hand on her in concern. "I just got a news update about Rachel, I think she's dead." Stella said in shock as Jenna grabbed the phone out of Stella's hands and read the news post about the motel burning down, and two people were found dead. Jenna dropped the phone and the floor and fell to the ground, as Ronnie walked outside with a gun in his hand. "Now this should be fun." He said with an evil laugh.
