I wish I could have friends like they do,
Late nights out in rambunctious cars and random locations.
Speedy little neat lines,
In the black night, high beams glow.

I wish I could have friends like they do,
Instead I'm just here.
Exchanging kind words with strangers but
Never, never does it become more than that.

I could express all the love
For others in my heart, but for what?
It's always, always frowned upon.
No-one ever sees me... for me.
