After driving about, and several complains from my daughter I find us in town and near her school, I sigh in relief and drive up at 9:06 .
I take her into reception and apologise for her lateness and 'illness ' yesterday and can only pray Lucie says nothing about her stay at the big house mansion castle, and if she does? Say she always fabricated lies about unicorns and pink castles and knights in shining armour.
My next stop is home to call work and speak to Austin, then. Heck I'll have to make sure my parents are okay as well.

I drive to the house and park the car in the garage.
I know Aiden will be back for me but I have to sort some things out first,

I walk up to the house and ring the bell, to my surprise he comes to the door straight away, I wrap my arms around Austin and kiss him senseless.,

"Where have you been," he whispers, his voice sounding broken ,

"It was Aiden, he took us, me and Lucie,
We were kidnapped...." and I pull him into the living room as the two of us try not to cry as he listens to my story.

"Is he still after you?"
"Yes and he's mad, I can sense his wolf, he's hot on my trail,"

"Well then we'll have to hide you until tomorrow." He states

"Why tomorrow?"I ask,

"Because he's being taken away to the mating games, and we've both been invited to spectate."

"Really? If that's the case I thought I'd have trouble getting out of his house."

"Wait, so you just walked out of his house?"

"Pretty much, then I took Lucie to school ."

He starts laughing, so much in fact that tears spring from his eyes, He stands me up filling me into his warm embrace as he spins me round the room, I giggle and kiss him until we both collapse on the sofa.

"I just realised, why would he kidnap me for a day and then get rid of me ? Especially if he has to go to the games tomorrow?"

"My guess is that he thought he could win you back, but seeing you with your daughter, that you had a life and had moved on, and the fact that he has a crazy wolf, made him feel bad, he loves you and, I hate to say it but he loves you and really does care for you." He sighs and rubs my hand comfortingly.

"Wow I think you're in love with him!" I smile at the horrified expression he gives me,

"I think he's an asshole who is not getting his hands in my wife, and the whole time were st the tournament I'm going to be snogging the living daylights out of you, just to show him what he's missing." He rubs his nose against mine as i blush.

"What now?" I ask .

"You and i get some quality time." He says wiggling his eyebrows , I giggle again and shake my head,

"I think I have to call my work," I say frowning.

"No need, it's been dealt with, I called them and said that you were missing and they were really worried about you, so was Deacon."

"Oh I forgot all about him, is he alright?" I ask guiltily,

"Oh he's fine, turned out Lucas never even broke up with him, apparently it was just his friends sick idea of a joke,"

"That's good. One less thing to worry about, now all I have to do is go round to mum and dad house and I can formally introduce you!"

"That's a good idea, I did go to the house to get Lucie but there was no answer, I assumed you'd gone out and returned home since the reporters had gone, thank goodness."
He frowns slightly at the memory.

"If only is gone in, i might have been able to help them if they were knocked out,"

"Hey, it's alright baby, if anything it's my fault for shutting out my wolf, You have done nothing wrong."

"Really? It was your wolf? What did she do?" He says urgently ,

"She told Aiden where Lucie and I were."I say frowning,

"Why would she do that?"he asks clearly thinking,

"I have no idea, i think she just wants let out more," I lie

"Okay, don't worry about it,lets go and meet the parents," he says averting my gaze,

"Oh I never knew you were shy." I say poking him and squishing his cheeks,

The drive to my parents house was full of me teasing Austin and worrying about Aiden, I twirled my wedding ring around nervously on my finger I wondered what they would think about my husband.

Especially since he is not my mate.

My apologies I'm so sorry I'm such a an awful person I can't believe I took four days! I still have a lot to cover on this story and I really want to get to the mating games and the rest.
