Smile darling
Behind her dazzling eyes hides a black hole
The kind that you get so far lost in that you don't remember there's an escape
You'll search a desert
In circles, round and round
She learnt better than to dream of better days
Dreams taste like giving up
Tears taste like guiltShe's afraid to ever pull off her mask
Because every time it gets harder to put on
But the toxicity seeps into her skin
through her wounds
and stings like a thousand cutsFucking smile, darling

This poem I did as a word print that's why it's not as refined as some of my others but I wanted to share it anyways
