Miyu was used to being stared at but she's never gotten these kinds of looks before. All the people in the village seemed to know who she was, and were shooting her glares filled with hatred. It wasn't really a surprise actually. The Hoshiko Clan and Konoha have never gotten along and the Hoshiko has killed many shinobi from the Leaf, because of that everyone in the village knows what a Hoshiko looks like, the only difference was that she was the only one in her clan who had galaxy colored eyes.

"Stick close to me, Miyu-sama." Haruto whispered while looking around, making sure no one even came a step closer. Miyu nodded in response.

Yes, she had gotten a little closer to the blonde, but she still didn't trust him. He hadn't even broken down her walls yet, not an inch. Haruto wasn't someone she could confide in just yet, he had a long way to go.

Miyu looked at the old man that was in front of her. She had no emotion her face, as usual. Although there was a hint of disbelief in her eyes. This was the all powerful hokage. He looked frail and weak, but, as she was taught, never underestimate anyone by how they looked, no matter how kind, pretty, or nice they were.

"Hokage-sama, I have retrieved Miyu-sama." Haruto bowed, waiting for his leaders next command.

"You're dismissed, Izumi-san." the hokage smiled as he sent off the ninja who bowed in respect. Before Haruto left, he glanced at Miyu. She looked at him with an icy stare. Even if I had gotten through her before, I still haven't gained her full trust, he thought as he walked out the door.

"Why am I here?" she demanded coldly, turning her gaze back to the hokage. She didn't trust Konoha. Not because they were enemy villages, but because of a certain incident that happened - her mother's death.

"Child," the Hokage smiled. Miyu could see that the his smile looked displeased like he didn't expect this happen. "I apologize. When I sent the letter for an alliance, I didn't expect the elders to also send a deal, and if they did, I never expected the outcome of it to be a child coming here."

Her expression softened but she still had no emotion on her face. She closed her eyes, and sighed before looking back at the Hokage.

"Well, Hokage-sama, I'm under your command, is there anything you want me to do?" Miyu asked as she bowed down.

The Hokage frowned. "You can stop bowing, please. And also, just call me grandpa."

"Yes, grandpa." she replied, her voice wasn't cold, and her face had a neutral look. She was calm but she was still tense and guarded.

"We'll get you signed up for academy in a few days. I'll call someone up to be your guardian until you are of age."

Miyu nodded.

Miyu had been standing in the Hokage's office since the sun lifted past the horizon. After an hour, she had decided to sit down, her eyes closed and her face relaxed. The Hokage was out of his office and left to go get her guardian himself, it was strange because she thought he would've called someone to get him and it was even stranger when he left her without anyone watching her. He is foolish, she mumbled in her mind.

The door opened but Miyu didn't open her eyes. She heard footsteps come closer to where she was sitting.

"So you're the brat I've been hearing about." the voice was feminine and sounded mischievous, like she was ready to do something crazy.

Miyu looked up, meeting the gaze of the women who she was going to live with. "The names Anko Mitarashi!"

Miyu could already tell that she was going hate living with this women, Anko. She could already tell that this women was crazy, and that she would probably end up dying by her.

Oh, this just got good. Okay, this is a bit shorter than intended, but that's because I wanted to save a part of the story for the next chapter that I may or may not publish today or tomorrow. Who knows!
