Stress

Everything piles high
Everything falls low
Not enough time
Not enough time

The voices they yell
The screech and cry
Yet in my face
A normality

We can't live without stress
It feels worng to do so
Stress drives us
Ages us too fast

Yet we know it like an old friend
Who we've known scince we were children
It is here to say hello
For another 180 days

And it never leaves
It gets in the way
Mindfulness is ruined
Our conection broken

We lost our way a while back
But now we need to get back on track
Nothing now that I can do
Anything at all will help

Please help us
A generation stolen
By their own minds
And by the world as well.
