Squid Sisters x Reader

Y/N L/N. The girl who won the draw. How? Well, let me tell you how! It was just another ordinary day in Inkopolis. Inklings were splatting and Judd was still being lazy. You came back from a battle to go get a bite to eat and as you sat down to eat your sushi, the Plaza TV flashed green and pink. The Squid Sisters! They talked about new guns and a new map, but what mostly caught your attention was the draw. You put your name into the box next to Judd and the next day, a name will be called out! 

You hopped out of your seat and wrote your name down on a piece of paper. You pet Judd's head and slipped the note into the box. 'I can't wait to see who'll win tomorrow! Obviously not me since I get the worst luck!' You chuckle to yourself and make your way back home. 

The next day you sat down in the plaza and waited anxiously for the Plaza TV to turn on. The box had gone, signalling that someone has already counted up the votes. 'Jeez a lot of people are here... Probably ready to see if they'll get chosen as well. Finally, after a few minutes of waiting, the TV lit up green and pink. "Aaannnddd the results are in!" Callie says as she pats the box. "Let's see, let's see!" Marie rolls her eyes and grins at the camera. Callie sticks her hand in and drums start to play. Everyone starts to hum in eager.

"And the winner is...."

"Kelpy Seafish!"

Groans of disappointment were heard all around and your heart sank into the pit of your stomach. "Ugh stupid Y/N, of course, they wouldn't have picked me..." You started to walk towards the exit until Callie spoke up. "Hang on a minute- it appears Kelpy cheated! He put over 20 tickets in here!" Everyone gasped and you looked back up at the screen. "Soooo~ The new and actual winner is...." Marie pulls out a ticket and smiles to the camera. "Y/N L/N!" 

'I-' You freeze in your place and dropped the gun you held. "I can't believe it..."

The next day you dress up nicely. You brush your hair, have a shower and brush your teeth with some mint gum (extra mint for the ladies *wink*). You head outside and just before you can walk down the street you hear a honk. Looking around in all directions, you see a limo with Judd in the driver's seat. You walk towards it and the back door opens. You stand there waiting for someone to go in or out but all you hear is a familiar voice shouting "C'mon we don't have all day!- Oh, wait yeah we do." You hop inside and get pulled into the middle of two bodies. "Ah, there she is!" Callie! Callie pulls you into a tight hug and Marie rolls her eyes looking a bit jealous. "Don't bruise her, Callie!" Marie growls and pulls you away from Callie, that backfired because Callie was tugging at your right arm. "Callie, let her GO!" "Fine!" Callie lets go and you fall on top of a blushing Marie. "Oooooh Y/N and Marie, don't leave me out!" Marie pushes you off as Judd starts to drive.

"So uh- How do you guys know where I live?" Callie laughs and wraps her arm around your waist. "Easy! We just tracked you down! It wasn't hard really, we just spied on you until you went home!" Marie smacks Callie on the head and pulls you away again. "Oh hush Callie, leave Y/N alone!" Marie pulls you into a side hug and then lets you go.
