The Prank Call

Chapter 1

Alfie's POV

It all started that one morning, that I decided to give Joe a great heart attack. I never really thought it would end this way, but I'm glad it did. I remember it all too well. Zoe and I were filming a collab and I had decided for my video that I was going to do a prank call. 

"Who do you think we should prank call, Zoe?" I asked zoe jokingly and she sprang up to her feet in excitement.

"Alfie! You're a genius! But I don't know, who would be the best to prank call?" Zoe wondered with a look of hope behind her eyes. 

"Maybe we could tweet the fans? They can help us figure all of this out." I said grabbing my phone from my bedside table. Who should @Zozeebo and I prank call? What should we say?

"Perfect! Let's leave it to the fans!" Zoe says as she reads the many replies that pop up. "Oh. Wow."

"What?" I ask leaning in toward Zoe making sure not to get too close, I don't want to make it awkward. I peer over her shoulder to see the many tweets about Zalfie. I lowered my face away from Zoe, so she wouldn't notice I was blushing. I look over at my phone and start reading the replies.

"These are too funny, some people want us to be together!" Zoe giggles shyly and blushes slightly as she tilts her head away from me.

"Oh my gosh, Zoe, I think I've found the perfect one!" I laugh as I hand my phone over to Zoe to have her take a look. Instead she scoots over and leans her body in towards my screen. I want her to come closer, I want to hold her in my arms and never let go, I wanted her to be my one and only, but I didn't want to ruin our friendship. I lean into zoe as she rests her head against my shoulder while continuing to read the tweet, I hadn't really realized I was staring at her though.

"Alfie?" Zoe giggled snapping me out of my trance. I blushed slightly as I looked away pretending nothing happened.

"So, what do you think?" I asked her, hoping she was on the same page as I was.

"I love it, it sounds like a great idea, and personally I think it would be the most hilarious video yet, especially since Joe is such a sensative guy." Zoe replied looking back up at me. "Well, should we get started then?" she asked. Ugh I just wanted to keep staring into her beautiful blue eyes, but I knew I couldn't and I shouldn't. After all, she is dating Jack. Jack is my best friend, I wouldn't want to hurt him. I pull myself together and remain collected.

"Sure let's get started, I'll just get my camera positioned correctly and everything." I say getting up and walking toward the front of my bedroom. As I set up my equiptment, I can't help but stare. And its not like I'm being rude or anything, she isn't looking. Her hair flows down so smooth and cloroful. I finish the last touches and head back over to Zoe. I sit on the other end of the bed so I can avoid as many Zalfie comments as possible. As soon as I position myself correctly, Zoe looks up from her phone and hands me her phone with Joe's number on dial.

"Here we go." She says and leans back waiting as she listens to the loud rings of the phone on speaker.

Hey guys! So this is my first story and I thought, what is better than a Zalfie fanfic? Nothing. So I just got started with the first chapter so tell me what you guys think!
