The Prank Call

Chapter 2

Zoe's POV

I was so nervous to film this prank call video with Alfie. I didn't know how serious it would get and how my brother would react. I don't regret it though. I am happy now, without any of that happenig, I wouldn't be here telling you my story of true love.

"Oh my gosh! Zoe I think I've found the prefect one!" Alfie told me as he laughed and started to hand me his phone. We are really good friends so, he won't think anything if I just lean in, right? I lean in to Alfie and rest my head on his muscular shoulder. I surge of happiness races throughout my body as I stay comfortably against him. I've never felt anything for Alfie before, it has always been a really tight friendship and nothing more. I ignore my feelings and think about Jack. We have been dating now for four months. He is so cute and sweet and caring. I miss him. I glance down at Alfie's screen and read the tweet. Oh my god! I blushed. The thought of doing this gave me that strange feeling again. This isn't good.

"Let's do it!" I hear myself saying before I really have time to think this through. Alfie goes and sets the camera up as I get on my phone and text Jack. Alfie starts walking towards me and sits down on the other side of his bed. I pull up my contacts and get Joe's number reading for prank calling. I put my phone on speaker and hand it over to Alfie.

Alfie's POV

I wait nervously as I listen to the loud buzz of Zoe's phone ring. Finally Joe picks up. Crap I have no idea how im going to pull this off.

"Hey Zoe, What's up?" Joe says as he waits for a reply.

"Um... Actually Joe, it's Alfie." I say nervusouly. Hoping that he can;t hear the joke in my voice.

"Alfie? What are you doing with Zoe's phone?" Joe asks concerned.

"Well, actually Zoe's downstairs, I just really needed to tell you something and my phone's dead."

"Yeah sure man, what is it?"

"Well.... Oh my gosh this is so hard for me to say.." I stammer

"Oh my God man, what is it! Is Zoe hurt?" Joe asks

" NO, no she's not hurt..... Please don't get mad at me though. I'm really sorry, I didn't mean for this to happen."

"What? Alfie what is going on? Tell me now!"

"Joe.." I sigh as a lump forms in my throat and I can't believe we are doing this. "I got Zoe pregnant."

"YOU DID WHAT?!!" Joe yells into the phone.

"Joe, I swear I didn't mean anything of it, it all just happened so fast and I don't know.. Man I just don't know. We went out to the club and just got wasted. It was a huge mistake and now I don't know what to do." I plea.

"YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO? YOU JUST GOT MY SISTER PREGNANT! SHE ISN'T EVEN DATING YOU! YOU SHOULDN'T HAVE EVEN BEEN AROUND HER AND YOU KNOW THAT! NOW WHAT IS SHE GOING TO DO? hOW IS HER YOUTUBE CAREER GOING TO BE AFFECTED? HUH? DID YOU EVER STOP AND TRY TO THINK ABOUT HOW THIS MIGHT AFFECT HER INSTEAD OF YOURSELF? YOUR STUPID HORNY LITTLE SELF?" Joe yells. Crap this is getting really bad. I am literally sweating. I glance over at Zoe who is trying to keep herself from laughing.

"Joe. I know, you are right, I wasn't thinking about her, I was thinking about myself. And I shouldn't have been around her. I just- God! I don't know what to do. I'm such an idiot!" I blame myself now feeling guilty for something that hasn't even actually happened.

"AND WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO TELL JACK MATE? HUH? YOU THINK HE'LL JUST FORGIVE YOU FOR FUCKING HIS GIRL? I DON'T THINK SO MAN, YOU REALLY SCREWED THIS ONE UP, YOU REALLY DID."

"Yeah. I know..." I answer glancing over at Zoe again who is motioning at me to tell him that it's just a prank. "Joe. I have something even worse to tell you." I smirk at the camera.

"WHAT NOW MATE, WHAT'S WORSE?!" Joe's temper is rising some more.

"Joe. This is a prank call." I laugh into the phone and Zoe starts laughing too.

"Oh my GOD! ARE YOU SERIOUS?! ALFIE THAT IS SO NOT FUNNY!! I was worried sick you bastard! I fucking hate you man. Gosh."  Joe says releasing his anger.

"Yeah well I didn't do it alone, Zoe's here too." I laugh som more.

"HI!" Zoe says laughing still.

"Oh my gosh you guys, so not funny." Joe finalizes.
