Today is the last day of school for my county, and it's both hard and refreshing for us all. It's great to be done with exams and have extra free time, but it's also a sad reminder of what can never be. There is tables set up for people to sign Macie's and Abby's yearbooks that will be given to their parents, and it is just feels so wrong. They should be signing people's yearbooks with hearts and cute little notes as they always did, running up to others and asking them to sign, talking about how glad they are that summer is finally here and that they're so happy the exams are over and done with.
Please pray for their friends and families, because it's truly a hard time for everyone and it seems like it's not getting easier.
