Orange, the color of poppies .
Yellow, the color of sunflowers.
Green, the color of apples.
Blue, the color of the sky.
Purple, the color of tulips.
Red, the color of the blood seeping from the bullet wound.
Orange, the color of the sunset as she cries over his body.
Yellow, the color of his shirt just a few minutes before.
Green, the color of the grass before it gets tainted by footprints and blood flowing over it.
Blue, his eyes as they slip shut.
Purple, the color her face as she holds her breath.
