Part 13

Next day radhika went to the market near laxminagar with a purpose to know more about khushi. She was buying vegetables by noticing her surroundings to find khushi by luck. What to say when luck is on her side, she spotted khushi who was bargaining with a vendor and went to her. Radhika taps her shoulder and calls 'khushi betiya' khushi turns and surprisingly smiles at her.

Khushi: auntyji you here?

Radhika: My home is near this market betiya.

Khushi smiles and asks about ruhi. Radhika lovely answers her and asks about some routes from khushi as she is new here.

Khushi: Here a park is present nearby auntyji, you can go there with ruhi.

Radhika: Sure beta, you give me your contact number ruhi want to see you and speak to you.

After their pleasentaries, both went to their houses. Soon in coming days, radhika sees the bonding between ruhi and khushi as radhika daily brought ruhi to the park which is nearby khushi's home. And side by side she is constantly pestering his son to agree for marriage.

One month passed, still NK didn't come from Sydney nor any change in anjali and shyam relationship. Anjali slightly melts but did not show it to shyam, as she needs more time to believe that he is truly changed. On the other side, arnav was immersed himself with his working in daytime and drinking in the night.

One day evening as usual radhika come to park with ruhi and called khushi too. Ruhi plays in a swing when khushi comes.

Khushi: Hello auntyji ! greeted politely.

Radhika: Hello beta ! greeted back smilingly.

Khushi: Today i think i am late haaina. I forgot to come here you know when i am having jelebi i'll forgot everything, said chirpily. After that, they start chatting random things. Suddenly,

Radhika: beta what do you think about your marriage?

Khushi is startled by this question, she didn't expect this. She gives a nervous smile and excused herself from there to avoid further conversation.

After khushi went radhika started thinking 'why did khushi beta go like this as she is feared of me? Is she scared her by talking about marriage?' But later face palmed herself and continued thinking 'you are pagal radhika, she is a small girl you are asking her about marriage. Maybe she felt uncomfortable or shy. You should have directly spoken to her parents'.

For some time, she observes ruhi and again some thoughts cross her mind, 'Is she greedy that she wants a young girl for her widowed son. What if her raj failed to love her? What if khushi becomes unhappy after marriage? Any girl want their husband's love na then what she will do? What if khushi life gets spoiled by this? No no i will make sure they both are happy if they married', with this determination she went to buaji house with ruhi as she already know the address.

Buaji: hai re nandhakishore.....come radhikaji, areah ruhi beta come.

Radhika: Nameste....hope i didn't disturb you.

Buaji: No no please take a seat, hey garima, khushi see who came here.

Khushi comes there and surprised seeing radhika here and still her questions regarding marriage rings in her ears. Garima too joins them.

Radhika: I want to talk to you madhumatiji. Buaji confused and asked her to continue.

Radhika hesitantly starts, I want to ask your daughter's hand for my son.

Gupta family are stunned by this. Buaji is the first one who comes out of the shock,

Buaji: kya titaliya's marriage? Said shockingly.

Radhika: I know it will be a shock for you. Who want to give their daughter to a widowed groom. But please think about it. I will be happy if you accept the proposal.

Buaji: woh kya haaina, khushi is married and separated from her husband said slowly.

Khushi stood still in shock. She couldn't comprehend how the hell she asks her hand for marriage. Radhika too shocked knowing the fact that khushi is married and divorced. Now she has more hope, rajiv and khushi are sailing in the same boat.

Ruhi: waah...khushi aunty are you going to marry my dad? asked to excitedly.

All seeing the excited face of ruhi, khushi don't know what to tell to ruhi.

Radhika: Ruhi beta don't pester khushi aunty, if she wants then she will agree. Don't compel her for anything and turns to buaji 'I am leaving now hope you give good news. Take your own time i'll wait'

Garima: Namaste...after they went she shook buaji and khushi.

Buaji: hai re nandhakishore...what is this new problem? We have to inform this to raizada's. Titaliya go inside. Quickly she calls RM and informs the proposal to nani.

Garima: What do you think jiji? Can we marry our betiya for rajiv beta?

Buaji: If khushi wants we can go ahead or else forget it today itself. This time decision is fully on the wish of khushi. If she doesn't want then we don't have to force her. Garima nods.

But shashi is the one who was restless sitting in the wheelchair. He wants arnav as his son-in-law but it seems to be nowhere going to happen. He can see the love and regret in arnav eyes, he is so sure arnav would be the one who could make his khushi happy and understand her inner turmoil. He first angry on arnav but later seeing the efforts arnav taking to woo khushi, then that time he knows he is the one for her. But he cannot voice out his thoughts, he is helplessly sitting in this good for nothing wheelchair.

In RM nani informs radhika's proposal to all.

Mami: hello hi bye bye...did she know pattisaadi is married to arnav bituwa?

Nani: nahi...she just know khushi is married and separated from her husband but don't know whom. Payal betiya what do you think?

Payal thinking for some time and says, if khushi agrees then i have no problem. They seem to be good family.

Aakash: But we have to tell them that khushiji is married to bhai.

Nani: hmm...we will inform them when they are coming for party. All retired to their room.

In night khushi sat in bed thinking, 'why devimaiya write my destiny with so much of twist like film? Can't i deserve a simple life without any troubles? How can i marry another person? I can't even imagine anyone in arnavji's place'. Suddenly all her determination to avoid arnav jumps out of the window. Maybe he has flaws but all have their own set of flaws. She like a fool and to thirst her anger & ego she hurt arnavji and herself. But will she able to forgive him and forget all to start a new life with him. She herself confused. Today radhika aunty again reminding her about arnav and her old feelings are starting to resurface. Slowly sleep took over her.
