I wiped down the table that the couple that just left sat at . I work 10 to 11 today ,I work at a local diner in Los Angeles California . The place where most celebrities come because not many nobodies come in .It pays good and it supports me and my little sister whom i take care of. 2 years ago my mother died from breast cancer and since I've never met my dad it's been me and my sister ,Amina , for a while now . I just turned 23 last month and my sister is 16 in the 11th grade . We live in a condo and everything has been great . As I was day dreaming I heard the door bell jingle meaning someone walked in . In walks Quavious my old bestfriend from high school . He goes by Quavo and now he's in a rap group " Migos " he blew up right after senior year ended went on tour and forgot all about little old me . I continued to wipe down tables as him and his friends and some girls sat at a table . My boss told me to go take their orders . " welcome to sea side diner can I start you off with some drinks " . I said . Quavo looked up at me surprised. I turned to the other people . Most of them ordered sprite or milkshakes . "And you Quavious ?" I asked since he never replied . " uh yeah I'll just take a sprite " . He said . I walked away to go get the drinks after making them I brought them back and took their food orders . After the chef finished making their request I took it back to their table . As I was sitting Quavious's plate down the grabbed my arm . " Can I talk to you right quick ?" He asked . "I'm kinda busy " . I said " come on Y/N just give me 5 minutes " . He pleaded . I gave in and we walked out into the busy streets of LA . " Wow you look so different " . He said . "Well you did just kind of up and leave me " . I said . "I- I just saw the opportunity and took it , without talking to you first and I'm sorry " .he said . "Yeah well a lot has changed since you left" . I said . " what you mean ?" .he asked " Well mama died and Amina is graduating high school next year ". I said . "Wow I did miss a lot but I'm glad I could see you again ." "Well I will be here soooo" .i said . "How about I take you out later ?" He asked . "Sure I got the same number so just call me , okay ?". I said as he grabbed my hand . " yeah okay , well go ahead and do your thing in there and we will talk later " he said pulling me into a hug . I hugged him back and walked back into work with him trailing behind me . I'm glad we got to talk again .
