The last couple months have been hard after all, Daniel is missing an arm. There's been a lot less animals in the forest to hunt and eat.

"Can't you just, call 1-800-WE-WANTFOODNOW." Danny said.

"If only it was that easy. The cell towers are down." I replied. "How's your arm?"

"Could be better."

"Uhh, I'm so hungry!" Christian moaned.

I pulled out a Butterfinger, a Snickers, and Reeses cups. I gave the Butterfinger to Christian, Reeses to Daniel, and kept the Snickers for me.

"Hey, thanks again man."

I could barely understand Christian with his full mouth. I chewed my last bit and threw the wrapper on the ground, after all it is the end of the world.

"Alright, let's go. We got a long day ahead of us."

They both stood up at the same time like synchronized swimmers.

***3 Hours Later***

My legs hurt. I was hungry. We were bout almost out of ammo. While we were walking we came across a gas station.

"Hey, shut up."

We heard rustling in the gas station. We walked in slowly with our guns aimed high. Nothing. We saw nothing. Then I heard a click and a gun was on the back of my head. I could tell by the click. 38. Special revolver.

"Don't even think about moving unless you want your brains blown out." A girl voice whispered in my ear. I was startled.

We dropped our guns. I turned around and saw her. She was beautiful. Blonde hair, blue eyes, just perfect. She dropped the gun and stuck out a hand. I shook it.

"Hi, I'm Kate."

I just stared in wonder.

"25." God I'm stupid.

"Uh what?"

"Nothing, ya know, I just start freaking out around pretty girls."

"Ah so you think I'm pretty huh?" She blushed.

"Well uh yah..."

"Your pretty cute yourself."

"Huh, thanks."

We stepped outside while Chris and Danny looked around at their new home.

"I never caught your name?" She questioned.

"Patrick. You single? Uh I mean..."

"Huh," she giggled, "ya you?"

"Hopefully not soon." I smiled.

I turned and saw a cardboard box.

"Hey, I'm gonna go back in. Come in when your ready."

"Ok." I walked to the cardboard box. Stuck my hand and felt all around.

"Uhh."

"Oh god!" It was a walker. It bit my leg. Now the choice was, to tell my new Girlfriend and my best-friends or keep it a secret.
