Have you learned the vowels? Great! Wait no? Oh.... Thats unfortunate, Im not romanizing the whole book vOv.
Now some of these are strange... only because their sounds change sometimes.... nothing to worry about though, I'm sure the change will come naturally! Ill teach that in the next chapter. As of now...
Lets just get started, shall we?
Consonants:
ㄱ - g
ㄴ - n
ㄷ - d
ㄹ - r/l
ㅂ - b
ㅁ - m
ㅅ - s
ㅈ - j
ㅊ - ch
ㅌ - t
ㅎ - h
ㅍ - p
ㅋ - k
ㅇ - silent/ngThis is pretty self explanatory right? Again I'll be explaining the changing sounds in the next chapter.
Some examples:
가 - Ga
너 - Neo
도 - Do
리 - Ri
바 - Ba
무 - Mu
시 - Si
즈 - Jeu
치 - Chi
타 - Ta
후 - Hu
파 - Pa
커 - Keo
이 - i (ee)Side note: What I love about learning how to read languages is that... like after time... the letters actually begin to look like how they sound... does that make sense?? Like when I see ㄱ I immediately know it makes the G sound... no need to think about it. Like it even looks like a G in english... even though it really doesn't in shape.
