Thunder Storm

-----Jyugo POV-----

I couldn't sleep, because every time I closed my eye the sound of thunder and lightning kept me awake and also because I was scared of thunder and lightning. I tried going under my blankets to hide from the sound of the thunder, but it didn't help at all. I couldn't even hear my friends snoring due to how loud the thunder was. I wanted to sleep, but I was too scared to.

So I decided to go to [y/n]'s room. [y/n] has been titled "The heartless guard" due to her expressionless face and her attitude towards both inmates and guards. But there was something I never got. If she really was "heartless," then why did she bother trying to save me when I was getting beaten to a pulp by Hajime during the new year's tournament.

As I was getting up I heard a loud BOOM! CRAAACK! With flashes of blue light illuminated the cell. I immediately fell back down on my bed with my hands on my ears. After the noise stopped I quickly went to the cell door, opened it and closed it behind me. Another loud BOOM!! Was heard and I crouched down and put my hands on my ears, tears were forming at the corner of my eyes, but I refused to let them fall. Once I couldn't hear the thunder I quickly began walking to [y/n]'s room, thankfully her room was very close by.

There were some more thunder and lightning but it was very muffled by the walls. Once I was in front of [y/n] door I opened it and walked right in. The first thing I saw was [y/n] sleeping peacefully in her bed, her back is me. I wondered how she could even sleep with how loud the thunder is.

I walked about 3 steps towards her before flashes of blue light illuminated her room, I knew what was about to happen next but I wasn't prepared for it. BOOM!!! It was so loud that I make a scared noise I sat down on the floor, with my back facing the wall, and I tried my best to keep the tears from falling down my face, but one did.

I heard some shuffling but I just assumed that it was the storm, I thought I heard my name being called out but it was short lived. BOOM!!! The sound of thunder sounded like it was right above us, and the flashes of blue light was a lot bright too. I pressed my hands closer to my ears, I put my legs closer to my chest, I closed my eyes, and tried to not cry but the tears started falling down my face, so I tried to not make the sounds of me crying but I knew it wouldn't work.

I felt footsteps coming towards me but I paid no mind, the footsteps stopped right in front of me "Jyugo?" even though I had my hands on my ears I could still hear [y/n] sweet voice. I slowly opened my teary eyes to see a blurry figure which was [y/n] who was sitting on her feet. Another loud BOOM was heard along with more flashes of blue light.

Out of fear and by accent I leaped into [y/n] hugging her waist, with my head also pressed against her stomach. After that, I no longer tried to hold back my tears and I began crying on her. I feel her soft warm hands gently rubbing my head and back, which was calming me down to the point where I fell asleep.

-----[y/n] POV-----

While I was softly rubbing Jyugo's head and back he gently drifted to sleep, I smiled. The reason it to why I was given the title "The Heartless Guard" is because I rarely ever show any emotions, my voice sounds robotic and cold, and my attitude towards everyone is always cold and harsh.

But when it came to Jyugo, my face started to show very small amounts of emotions, which no could see, my voice was still a bit on the cold side but instead of a robotic tone in my voice it's more gentle and soft, and my attitude towards him is a bit lighter and less harsh. Whenever he escaped his cell I would ask him if he was bored and if he said yes I would bring him to my room or the smoke room. (If it wasn't occupied by Hajime) I would give him some difficult puzzles like huge Rubix that were bigger than his hands that also came in different shapes he enjoyed them very much, he liked how I gave him a variety of different Rubix cubes to choose from.

I slowly and carefully pick up Jyugo and brought him to my king-sized bed. Once I covered him in the warm blankets I did the same to myself on the other side of the bed. CRACK!! BOOM! I paid no mind to the extremely loud sound of thunder. Once I was comfortable in the position I was in, I tried to focus on falling asleep.

Right before I was about to fall asleep, I suddenly felt Jyugo's hands and arms wrap around me. Jyugo then pulled himself closer to me, it made me smile. Holding him close I closed my eyes and went to sleep. hopefuly Hajime won't be too mad.
