What a GREAT week

In Pain!reader

you're so drowsy that you almost don't recognize your friends' voices from time to time

you can see your friends but you can't process that it's them

Reader POV

I am having such a great week!! My thigh hurts, I'm having cramps, my nose is runny and I had a surgery for my wisdom teeth I think about 2 days ago!! So I'm drowsy!!

I have a cell of my own since you can only have up to 4 inmates in a cell so Jyugo and the others visit me by the hour to make sure I'm ok, plus they play movies, TVs show, basically the things I like near me, and just talk about what's been happening.

Bless their souls.

The life in my cell is lonely.

The conversation for today is something about who going to have to feed me some soft foods. they all wanted to do it well expect for Jyugo, he can't seem to get a word in. But I'm too drowsy to pay attention to their loud conversation so I go to sleep.

A few hours later I wake up in pain from my thigh and cramps and I have a need to use the bathroom. I groan in distress. "Hey [y/n]," funny I hear this same voice every time I wake up It's nice, calming, gentle, peaceful-  "Do you need to use the bathroom?" I nod my head to the mysterious gentle heavenly voice.

Arms gently help me sit up but my thigh and cramps say otherwise, I flinch in pain. "Want me to carry you?" I nod to the voice. Being carried bridal style to the bathroom by a mysterious voice every day is quite strange, but I don't complain. Because I kinda can't.

After going to the bathroom thanks to the voice and carefully being placed back down on my futon and going back to sleep again.

I wish Voice could stay forever

Opening my eyes I was faced with the tree figure again they have a strange habit of calling me strange names "Hi Chipmunk Cheeks! ready for your food?" I don't get the names but I nod none the less. This time the tree feed me [favorite flavor] yogurt, the heavenly voice can sometimes be heard "Niko don't forget to give her water." "I know Jyugo don't worry!" apparently the voice can't feed. Is it because the voice doesn't have any arms??

Tree is cute

(it because everyone doesn't want Jyugo hoarding you all to himself. So everyone has a specific job to help you)

After taking a few "bites" of the yogurt I drank some water from a straw that was in front of my face. and I went back to sleep not before feeling a hand holding mine.

The pretty Shrimp (Uno) and Hulk (Rock) come by and they give me painkillers and heating pads for my pained areas.

they're so nice

But the fun fact is that on the 4th day of me being bedridden and I was able to talk without curling up into a ball. Plus I could recognize everyone but I wanted to call them by the things I thought they were.

Jyugo/Voice: Hey [y/n]

[y/n]: Hi pretty voice~

The pretty voice didn't respond for a while. Did I upset them (no you made they flustered)

Nico/Tree: Hi [y/n]! I got you some food!

[y/n]: so you're the cute tree that feeds me food

Tree made weird excited noises a while.

Uno/Shrimp: Hey [y/n]~

Rock/Hulk: We got you your favorite music on DVD

[y/n]: Hi Shrimp. Thanks, Hulk!

Shrimp made angry noises while Hulk tried to calm them down 'IM NOT A SHRIMP!!!' 'it's the hair, Uno...'

I was able to walk which was nice but I was horribly unstable so I had to cling to Jyugo's arm. when wanting to go somewhere like the bathroom. I think he's forgotten that he doesn't have to be in the bathroom with me. but since I can't seep my balance very well I don't really question it very much.
