Run, run and don't stop, was all that went through my mind.

The cyclops was only walking, but it took huge steps, demolishing anything and everything in its path.

"You can run, daughter of Nike, but you can't hide!" taunted the cyclops. "Ma Gasket will find you!"

"I don't even know what you're talking about," I replied. What was this hooligan talking about? Nike was a shoe brand, not a person. But then, there is the Greek goddess of victory... No, no, gods and goddesses are not real, they don't exist, and they never will.

I heard something whistling behind me. By luck, I tripped on a tree root just when a huge rock almost smashed my head. I turned around, and there it was, the huge cyclops wearing chain mail muumuu. Her greasy pigtails would've made me laugh if wasn't for her eye... Red, glowing with evil intelligence, piercing me with a murderous look.

"Look, maybe we can work this out. How about, you tear down this whole forest and spare my life? After all, what have I done, I am just a thirteen year old kid who happens to be in the wrong place, at the wrong time, right?" I said, shaking with fear.

"WRONG!!! It was a demigod that defeated me once, and I will NOT let another go!" she shouted at me. She slammed her wooden club down at me. I rolled to my right and tried to stand up, but found fear pulling me to the ground.

She turned her head to my direction, her eye gawking at me with hatred. I pulled myself with my arms, trying to get away, only bumping into a tree. She lifted the club and was bringing it down at me once again.

So this is how my life ends, with a wild cyclops smashing me for a reason I don't know. I started to close my eyes, hoping it was painless, knowing it probably wasn't, when I saw a rock hit the monster in the head. It was followed by a boy's voice shouting "Over here you big pile of garbage!"

I was still thinking about what Hecate said when I threw the rock at the Cyclopes. It hit her on the head; she looked around to see who had thrown the rock.

"Over here you big pile of garbage" I shouted.

She looked straight into my eyes.

"You stupid demigod, you have no weapons and yet you're willing to fight me just to save an even stupider demigod who denies who she is" the Cyclopes shouted back.

"I don't think it'll be hard to kill a fat monster with only one eye."

The Cyclopes ran at me and swung her club, I ducked and backed away.

"Run to the big house over the hill and get some help" I shouted to the girl.

She got up and ran over the hill.

"You are one stupid demigod; I think I should put you out of your misery."

"What are you gonna do, sit on me?"

She lifted her club, ready to bring it down on my head "It'll be a lot more painful than that" she said as she brought it down, but I jumped out of the way and picked up another rock, which I threw at her. The rock just made the Cyclopes angrier though and she swung her club again. I tried to get out of the way, but my luck had run out. The club hit my leg so hard that it broke. I almost fainted from the pain but I knew that if I did I would die so I tried to keep my eyes open.

The Cyclopes went to the tree on top of the hill and tore a huge branch off the tree. She walked back to where I was and swung her branch at my face. My last thought before I fainted wasn't anything noble like "at least I saved someone else" it was more like "wow this is more painful than her sitting on me, and then I was gone.
