What?! How did he get a disease from freaking Uganda?!"

"Red Arrow."

The archer growled and lowered his voice tone in order to not wake the teens sleeping in the living room, down the hall from where they were talking,"Did you take him on a mission to Africa or something?"

He was met with a shake of the Dark Knight's head. The ginger furrowed his brows.

"What the hell am I gonna tell the kid?"

"You're not telling him anything."

"...wait, you're going to keep this from him? He has three weeks left to live! He deserves to know!"

"I don't want him to find out until I have a cure. He doesn't need more stress on his heart right now."

Roy bit his lip slightly and thought it over in his head before nodding in understanding. The man had a point. Telling Robin that he had three weeks left to live would probably make his already weakened heart worse and shorten his time even more.

"...Alright, but what are you gonna tell him when he asks you what you found after doing the tests?"

"That is for me to worry about."

"Why did you tell me about this if you don't want him to know?"

"Someone close to him needs to know the severity of the situation. Black Canary won't be around all the time so it's your job to make sure Robin always gets medical attention when needed since you're the only one who knows what his symptoms are."

"Can I tell the team?"

"No."

"Why not?"

"..."

"Right. Stupid question."

Batman gave a slight nod and turned to leave,"Wait."

He halted his steps when Roy spoke,"Does this mean you're going to leave him at the mountain with us?"

"Only for the first week."

The archer nodded curtly and watched the Dark Knight leave before sighing and walking back to the living room.

He walked back over to the couch where he found Wally on the floor with Artemis's hand latched firmly onto his foot, which was probably what caused him to fall off the couch.

The speedster was oblivious to his change in location, still sleeping soundly like nothing had happened.

Roy stared at the other ginger for a few seconds before a thought popped into his head. This was more something Robin would do, but the kid was rubbing off on him to be honest.

The ginger haired archer bent down and moved Wally over to Artemis's side, unlatching her hand from his foot. He then rolled the speedster over until he was partially lying on top of the blonde girl with his face buried in the crook of her neck. He then lifted her hand and rested it on top of Wally's head.

The ginger stood back up to observe his work. Robin was right. They do kinda make a cute couple.

He let a defeated sigh slip past his lips as he shifted his eyes behind his domino mask to look at the sleeping bird out of the corner of his eye.

Robin was lying with his head on the armrest, the blanket he had been wrapped up in, now spread over his sleeping form to cover his whole body.

Red Arrow crouched down next to the couch, observing the thirteen year old's momentarily peacefully face,"What have you gotten yourself into, kid?"
