Pics are of Aunica and Annie

The bell for the end of the school day rang, and I went to put my books in my locker. As I'm walking, I see Tristan waiting for me.

"Hey," I said as I started to put the combo in.

"Sup," he responds, "How are you?"

"I'm doing better."

"That's good."

"How about you?"

"I'm good. I had a test in sixth period I know I passed."

"What do you have sixth period?"

"Environmental Science," I responded and opened the locker, "Plus I'm so happy it's FRIDAY!"

"Me too," he said. I put my books in my locker and close it. Tristan and I head to the main entrance. We saw that most of the other students were either cliqued up or just keeping to themselves.

"HI, HI!" I heard two female voices say from behind me. We both turned around and saw Aunica and my other best friend, Annie.

"Hey," Tristan and I said.

"Tristan, these are my best friends, Aunica and Annie," I introduced.

"Wassup," Tristan said softly.

"Are you guys going to Liam McGee's pool party tonight?" asked Annie. Liam is the most popular guy in our grade.

"Oh! I forgot that was tonight," I replied. I wanted to go, but I don't have swim trunks.

"I was gonna go, but my mom has to work tonight and she asked me to babysit my little siblings," Aunica said.

"And I just got to this school and I don't know if anyone's gonna know who I am," Tristan said next, "So..."

"So does that mean I have to go to the party by myself."

The remainder of us nodded.

"You guys are lucky I love parties," Annie chuckled as she left to go to the buses.

"Bye, girl!" Aunica shouted as Annie waved back, "I'm going back inside. I'm going out with my boyfriend before I have to babysit." She left and it was just the two of us.

"So Tristan," I started, "Aren't you gonna get on your bus? They're about to leave."

"I usually walk home." I felt bad for him. How could he walk by himself in the cold weather? It's actually 87 degrees, but still. Suddenly, I got an idea.

"Do you wanna hang out?" I asked looking at his beautiful face.

"Sure," he replied, "What do you wanna do?"

"I was thinking Ra Sushi."

"Oh wow. That sounds cool."

"Aiight. Let's go," I chuckled as we went to the car.

"Anything is better than coming back here," he replied. We both got in and I drove off and plugged the AUX cord into my phone. He went onto Spotify and played Polarize by Twenty One Pilots. I was completely surprised to look over and see him completely jamming out. He clearly doesn't know how to act, and it was so cute. I started singing too, and the both of us started dancing in our seats. We were getting too lit as we rolled the windows down. Shortly after the second chorus, it became a game of Let's Dance Like We've Completely Lost Our Minds and Embarrass Ourselves Out In Public Because We Feel Like It.
