As I walked in, my heels clicking against the wooden floor, I was distracted by how beautiful the office was. And to say it was huge, would be an understatement.

It was grand.

Magnificent.

The white surfaces gleamed and the glass shone as sunlight entered through it. The blinds were drawn back to let the light flood in.

I couldn't help but sigh in awe of the sheer grace of the main office.

The black and white designer vases with silver ornamental flowers provided a beautiful contrast to the white.

The paintings on wall were framed black and bookshelves were either white or black. The colour gave the office a very spacious feel. It looked even bigger than it already was.

Even the floor was white.

Pure white marble and not so surprisingly, I could see my reflection in it.

I must have looked like a stupid person, my eyes wide and mouth hanging open but fortunately enough nobody was there to watch me.

So I walked slowly, taking in my surroundings as I turned around, my eyes wide with awe.

In front of me, in the centre of the office was a huge desk. Black.

And on it was a white laptop, still running. Except that the table seemed surprisingly clutter free. There were no files, no papers, no pens, no nothing.

Just the laptop and a smartphone that lay to the side.

The man who had to be the boss was turned with his back facing me, his stance casual yet extremely intimidating. He stood with his hands in his pockets as he talked away with someone in a deep murmur on his phone.

His second phone, maybe.

One look at his back told me that he had a well built body with broad shoulders and narrow waist. Just looking at him one could feel the aura of sophistication he had. He had the perfect posture of a man sure of himself and just like it happened to the female protagonists in every romance novel I had ever read, all I could do was stare.
