I shot up to the unexpected slam on my door.

"Wake up everyone. Time to test." The deep voice of the general said.

I moaned in my pillow as i slowly lifted my body at the time. 4:00 AM. I moaned again slamming back into the comfy bed. Life as I knew it was about to crumble under my feet. At that moment I was pleased to see Jake barge in my room.

I laughed in my pillow and said, "Man have I had a lot of people barge into my room."

"just protocol," He replied.

He was holding a black shirt and black pants in his left arms. He placed the clothes on the bed at my feet and said," Here put these on its your test suit.

"Ugh," I complained. "Hey Jake, why did I get a training suit?"

"Um, I better get the next tester their outfit." He said, bolting out of my room as quick as a mouse making sure that our conversation wouldn't last.

As I was putting on the clothes, I heard a loud scream on the other side of the room, fallowed by a loud shout from many men. I quickly ran to the door to see what the ruckus was about. As the door opened I seen a girl hanging on a door frame parallel to my door. She was a small girl with long blond hair. Tears ran down her face making her seem like a wimp. She screamed and screamed as two man tried pulling her out of the doorway.

"I don't want to go," she cried.

Then Jace came in front of her blocking my view. He reached up his hand, but I couldn't see what he was doing. The girl screamed even louder than before, making my ears shatter until a loud ripple of sound echoed around the hallway. After that, the screaming had stopped and the girl wasn't moving. The general stepped out of my way reveling the girls body laying on the ground. She didn't make a sound or even flinch. I could see red staining her wight night gown and seeping onto the white tile. My hand struck my mouth as I fell to the floor and the whole hallway was silent even though everyone saw what happened.

"Take this girl to the nurse and tell them that it was an unfortunate suicide."

The two guards dragged her cold body away leaving a streak of blood. A tear ran down my face and anger rushed through my body.

"You monster." I yelled as I stood up striking his cheek with my hand.

"Now Freya, I told you not to be stupid." He said lifting his gun towards me.

Adrenaline rushed through my body and I couldn't think. My breathing got out of control and my legs got week.

"Go ahead shoot me, watch my body fall to the ground like the other girl. Watch me bleed to death." I shouted placing my forehead to his hand gun.

He stood there stairing at me. Watching my hart pound in my chest as I tried to stay strong.

"I'm not going to shoot you, but points for bravery. Congratulations Freya, you are one step closer to the forest.

He took the gun off my head and my hands flung to the ground for balance. My bones were so week and I didn't know what to think. I could feel everyone's eyes on me. watching my every breath.

"Back to your rooms and get changed. The test starts now." He shouted. "If you are not down in 10 minutes you will be shot, and don't try to run we will come for you."

He walked away gun in hand, towards the exit, but everyone just stood there in shock. Unable to move. Jake came walking around to everyone telling them they needed to get ready. Letting them know that they will be killed. Once all was settled he ran to me. I haven't moved since and I didn't plan on it.
