A/N: Did y'all miss me? //shot
---------
Snow had fallen early this year.
The white peaks of the rooftops in the city shows that pretty well enough, Juzo mused.
"I wonder what Munakata is doing this Christmas?" he wondered aloud as he made his way throughout the streets of their district, the holiday season making it bustling with people running about to find Christmas goods and whatnot. Juzo, meanwhile, hoped for nothing but alone time with Munakata. Afterall, after that confession, he couldn't ignore it any longer; his thoughts on wanting to be together with Munakata even more."If he hadn't confessed, I wonder what he would be doing. Drinking tea while reading at home? Going out with Chisa to find stuff for dinner..? Huh... Well, whatever. It's a pain to think about it. Right now, I just want to hurry back home." Juzo grumbled as he shoved his hands into his fur coat's pockets, feeling a bit chilly with winter finally coming to town.
He walked past storefronts displaying the jolly cheer of Christmas, with decorations sprinkled basically anywhere that it could take space; candy canes, snowflakes, reindeers, the lot. All the while contemplating on what he'd do on this seemingly jolly season when he's alone at home.A pile of snow fell from the overhead bridge's railings onto his head, as he shook it off whilst letting out an exasperated sigh. Wondering if Munakata was as bored as he, or maybe he was doing some student council papers? Who knows. But one thing's for sure. It'd be nice if the silver-haired man was around to keep him company. Juzo frowned a bit as he found himself getting too possessive of Munakata. That's not right. Munakata's not even his.. yet, anyway...
"Sakakura."
Said male flinched unceremoniously upon hearing the voice that he had wanted, that he had wished to hear for the whole day, call him out from behind him, quite a distance away from where he stood. The voice owned by none other than the very person who had stolen his heart; Munakata Kyousuke. Juzo stopped walking and waited for Munakata to catch up, in which he did, in record time.
"Hey, Munakata. What brings you here? It's rare to see you free from student council paperwork," he grinned as the other chuckled in embarrassment at the fact.
"Maa, once in a while, I like to take breaks and slack a little bit on the paperwork. But don't tell anyone of this, or they won't take my Super High School Level talent seriously anymore, alright, Sakakura? Just between you and me though, I came here to visit you at home but.. turns out you were just heading that way, so... Do you mind if I come over ?"Thoughts flitted through Juzo's mind alike to a whirlwind picking up buildings and cows. Good thoughts, bad thoughts, indecent thoughts; all of them, from that one sentence: 'Do you mind if I come over?'
Munakata. In my home. My. Home.
He couldn't believe his ears, but he forced himself to do so as he chuckled a bit and looked at Munakata with the most gentle expression he could have ever mustered in the whole history of his Super High School Level Boxer reputation.
Opening his lips to give a response, Munakata's eyes widened at the answer.
"Of course I won't mind. You're someone I love, so it's normal for you to come over at times, you know?"
Cheeks reddening at the response, the silver-haired man could only muster up a slight grin.
"Ah, that's right. You have got a point. Then... Would you mind if I make it a weekly thing? Or whenever I have free time, perhaps?" the smile was clear from suggestiveness; just plainly offering to come over, like the good friend; or lover, he was. And Juzo nodded gladly, not feeling the slightest bit of discomfort on the offer. Instead, he was extremely elated. He was excited, and he was happy. Really, really happy. And so, their banter continued as they walked home, hand in hand, keeping themselves warm with their shared body heat, whilst throwing off jokes and stories until they reached their destination.
Winter... It is a cold season that children and adults alike are always fascinated with.
Winter is also a season where snow falls down alike to cotton candy onto the ground. But most importantly, winter is a season that brings people together, to experience the joy of Christmas, near a warm fireplace, cuddling up with the person you love and care about, sipping a cup of warm chocolate...
And that's exactly what they did.-end
