"Agh, get those damned Crystal Gems! If you don't, y/n, you're going to be shattered! Yellow Diamond told us that!" You heard that voice so many times it hurt your metaphorical ears. You flipped your h/c hair right into this Emerald's perfect face. 

"Emerald, do you think I don't know that?! I'm smarter than a freakin' Peridot, you rock head!" You screamed. That's when you realized you shouldn't have said that. Emerald flipped her long, green hair to her back.

"Hmph. A y/g (your gem) talking to an Emerald like that. How cute." Emerald's sarcasm honestly tested your bravery. Your s/c skin went light, and your pupils got small.

"Y-yes, E-Emerald, I apologize. Okay, now, to shoot the base." you apologized, shaking your head to focus on the main task. Emerald nodded.

"Yes, go, now!" Emerald demanded, as you tried shooting the "base", you missed. All three times.

"Oops."

"Y/N!! Those were the LAST BOMBS! You just..." Emerald put out her hands to think. "Exploded the useless ocean!" she finished her angry statement, throwing her toned arms up in the air. You bit your tongue, starting to say something, but immediately cutting yourself off with a fearful squeak.

"I-I'm really sorry, I-" you were cut off by a big 'smash' and beeping inside your ship.

"Great, now we're gonna crash!" Emerald yelled. And, she was correct, as always. The first thing that happened was the windows crashing, glass sputtering everywhere. You and Emerald had no time to do anything. This was bad. Very bad. The floor rumbled under you, and soon enough, you and Emerald were laying in the ship, barely moving. But, regardless of the catastrophe, your eyes fluttered open, and there wasn't a single cut on your gem. Not even a scratch. You smiled to yourself, but then remembered Emerald. You noticed that she was still on the ground, face flat. You gasped, getting up and running over to her.

"Emerald!" You shouted. Her pierce, green eyes opened. She glared at you, and to your surprise, she shoved you out of the ship's broken open door.

"OUT OF MY LIFE!" Emerald screeched. "YOU RUIN EVERYTHING!" And with those last words, she used the very last backup ship you both had, and flew out the top of the ruined space shuttle.

"Emerald!" You cried out, but a tiny 'ching' in the sky made it clear that she was gone. You felt your eyebrows furrow, and tears fill your eyes. "Curse you!" you sobbed, shoulders shaking. "Why can't I be more useful like her?" you asked no one in particular. You covered your eyes, knees falling to the sandy surface. "What's wrong with me?!"
