Steven now split up in a glowing 'poof', as Garnet, Amethyst, and Pearl ran outside. Your eyebrows stayed furrowed, a look of insanity in your face, smiling the toothiest grin ever. Steven was bleeding from his sides, and Connie was, too. Steven was knocked unconscious, while Connie shut her eyes and fought to stay awake. When Pearl saw Steven, her pupils got small, tiny, tinier than a marble, as she screamed. Amethyst stared, her jaw wide open as Steven held onto his stomach. Without even noticing, Garnet split up, Ruby and Sapphire's eyes widened. You did nothing, staring in horror, tears filling your eyes; but, you continued smiling. Pearl sobbed deep, heavy sobs, but tried to stay strong. Connie opened her eyes, and she grabbed Steven's arm.

"St-Steven... please don't go. Don't p-poof. Don't have your gem cracked.." Connie sputtered, gripping Steven's shirt quickly, tears going down her lovely face. Steven rolled over slightly, his gem showing. Connie examined it. No cracks. "O-oh, thank god..." Connie sighed, relived. Steven's gem side was okay, but his human side was doing awfully bad. Pearl shook away her tears as you were about to blast them again, but you stopped and looked at all their expressions.

"Oh, Steven, please don't-"
'Poof!'
Blood splattered, and his bright pink, rose colored gem clinked, laying there. Ruby's hair fell over her face, to hide her fearful expression. Sapphire gasped, and hugged Ruby's arm. Pearl covered her mouth, as she stared. Amethyst left herself with a blank look, but tears fell. Connie was absolutely terrified.

"Steven!" she cried out, taking his gem in her hands. You opened your screen over your head, staring, your smile fading. Pearl had got an idea, not sure if it would work, while Ruby and Sapphire fused again. Garnet jogged over to the scene, as well as Amethyst.

"Garnet, I think I have a plan! It'll be difficult, we'll need a gem smart enough to help." Pearl explained, thinking about you, but quickly remembering you were the one who caused this. Garnet clenched her jaw, looking from Steven, to you, Steven, to you again.

"Do whatever we can, Pearl. What do we-" Garnet was cut off by you, sobbing down on the ground, out of your ship.
"I'm so sorry," you cried quietly. "I felt bad, thoughts were in my head, I was going insane, so I-"

"Can you help us?" Garnet asked you quickly. You looked up from your hands.

"What?"

"Can you help us save Steven and Connie?" she asked, adding on. You wiped your tears, and sniffed, putting on a smile.

"I'll do anything."
