Pearl smiled at your fusion, and furrowed her eyebrows.
"Stevonnie, Y/n, your fusion is lovely, but, you should unfuse. Use your fusion for more... Deadly situations." Pearl warned you. You sighed, flipping your hair, and unfused.
"There, you happy now?" You asked, raising an eyebrow as Stevonnie laughed, a pink blush on their cheeks. Pearl's face turned light blue and she scowled. Stevonnie looked deep in thought for a moment, putting a strand of long, curly brown hair behind their ear.
"Hey, uh, guys?" Stevonnie asked. The gems looked at them, as well as you. "We should introduce y/n to the gems living in the barn." Amethyst's face lit up, and she smiled.
"Ooh! Stev, that's a great idea!" she exclaimed, putting her stubby arms in the air. Stevonnie smirked slightly.
"Thanks." they told Amethyst.

You and the gems finally made it to the barn, after Amethyst took forever to get ready. It was strange, she normally just threw her hair up in a bun or ponytail. You ignored it when it happened.
Garnet knocked on the door of the barn, Stevonnie both nervous and completely open, as well as you. Lapis answered the door.
"Garnet! Where's Steven?" Lapis asked, furrowing her eyebrows and looked at you and the gems frantically. Garnet adjusted her glasses, Pearl frowned, and Amethyst clenched her jaw. Stevonnie walked up as you watched.
"Steven and I, Connie, are Stevonnie now." Stevonnie explained. Louis's eyes got all watery, and she frowned more.
"Wh-what do you mean? I was Malachite for a while and I-I hated it! Why do you guys have to be fused forever now?" Lapis asked, quickly wiping a tear that escaped. Stevonnie gritted their teeth nervously. You went up to Lapis, and gave her a sad smile.
"Hey, I'm Y/n. What happened to Steven and Connie was tragic. They... They got ambushed and almost died. So, we had to make them fuse forever in a certain way." you told her. Lapis looked down, but walked up to Stevonnie.
"Oh, Steven I'm so sorry." Lapis whimpered, clamping Stevonnie into a hug. They patted Lapis's blue hair.
"It's okay. You're okay." Stevonnie replied. Lapis looked up at their eyes.
"I just want Steven back." Lapis pleaded quietly. You furrowed your eyebrows and felt a pain in your chest. Stevonnie stayed silent, and hugged Lapis tighter.
"It's not gonna happen, Lapis. We- I'm sorry." Stevonnie apologized. Lapis stopped hugging, and sighed.
"I'll get over it... Let me get Peridot." Lapis said quietly, walking inside the barn. She came back out with a small, green gem.
"Who are they?!" Period demanded an answer. Lapis politely laughed.
"That's Stevonnie. Steven and Connie fused." Lapis pointed to Stevonnie. They waved. "That's Y/n. A new gem." Lapis gave Peridot the answer. Peridot smiled lightly.
"Cool. We have much to discuss, Y/n." Peridot giggled. You gave her a giggle back.
