Starts off after Nacht was told to get lost. Currently (unlike the game) Avery isn't dating anyone but she has special feelings for graves and he does too but so far nothing between them has happend. K enjoy 😂

I slouch out of bed like the lazy sloth I am. Or should I say lazy cat... I go to the bathroom, readying a shower when I look at the time.
"NO! I'm gonna be late again!" I rush to put on some clothes and slap some wet cat food in mochi's bowl. He mews in distaste but I have no time for his attitude and run out the door. Fast walking through the alley I pat my hair to make sure I look at least a little decent and find myself at the entrance of the cafe. Multiple cats sleep, there fur against the window sill. I sigh heavily trying to catch my breath and walk in. Everyone smiles at me warmly, mason giving me a roll of her eye seeing I only barely made it.

I set the few tables that some customers have sat at, pouring coffee cup after coffee cup and going on a about our cause and how all the cats are adoptable. Landry takes his shift and I finally have time to rest. I sit upstairs by the pastries and cock my head back sighing.
"I can see the extra sleep this morning didn't help you much?" A low and silky voice called. I jumped up, startled to see Graves across the table from me with coffee in his hand. When did he sit down? I didn't even hear him!
"Uhhh..." my face glowed a rosy shade of red and pink.
"It's quite alright Avery, everyone has those days" he puts his large hands on mine, easing my anxiety. I smile brightly at him and exchanges his own warm smile.
"Avery, if you can would you like to stay late tonight, we can study more on the book together." Graves says slowly, looking into my eyes. Of course I want to say yes but... I can't.
"I would love to Graves... but Mochi is mad at me.. I gave him wet cat food and not even a goodbye, I have to make it up to him" Graves nods and laughs a bit.
"That's quite alright, maybe this can help him" he hands me a small bag of neatly stored cat treats. I've seen these around before! There actually stupidly expensive giving that there cat treats.
"Wow thanks.. these are kinda a lot of money for just five treats you sure you don't want to save then for your highness?" I ask referring to his cat countess.
"Of course it's alright, I have a separate bag for her she'll never know" he winked and stood up.
"Enjoy those Avery" he smiles and starts to walk to his room.
"Thank you again graves!" I call out, but he's already gone. I shove the bag of treats in my hoodie and get back to work, whistling happily through the day.

The sun finally grows tired and starts to set. I grab my things and prepare to leave. Hayes and landry have already left, finely is on the couch yelling at her phone, mason still in the kitchen, and Reese is probably upstairs in Graves's room. Right before I open the door someone calls out to me.
"Goodnight Avery tell Mochi salutations!" Graves says, he doesn't yell but his smooth voice is loud enough to hear even though he's on the top balcony. I smile and wave.
"I will!" And with that I leave the cafe and start up the alley way to my apartment. Unlike most nights, the alley is eerily quiet. A dangerous and familiar smell hits my nose... rust. I panic myself and speed up. But no one stops me or attacks me.
"Just my imagination, rust IS a natural  occurrence anyway" I sigh and make it to my apartment.
"Mochi! I have a gift for you!" I call out
"Mrrr" he mews, looking at me with his head tilted.
"It's from graves, so enjoy it" I toss him the fancy treat and he jumps around it happily before devouring it whole.
"Fatty cat." I say, then make it to the kitchen to set up a proper dinner for him. He begins to eat as I eat my own dinner aswell, the TV blasting and my eyes grow heavy. I walk to my bathroom and take a shower. I usually take one in the morning but I might not have time for that anymore. I submerge myself in blankets, stretch and yawn. I whisp to sleep.

*BZZZ BZZZ BZZZ* my alarm goes off this time and I punch it in the face. It shuts off and I groan loudly,
"why is waking up a thing?" I get out of bed and prepare Mochi his breakfast.
"Mrrrrp" he groans staring up at me.
"You can't have all the treats! There special. One a day it's either now or when I get home, choose" to my surprise Mochi turns away from me and starts eating his breakfast. I wonder if he actually udnerstood that..
I get ready to leave and open the door but freeze immediately. My heart stops. I freeze. No longer breathing. I look down on the welcome mat.. and sits there is a rusty old can...
