I watch as everyone's eyes zone in on Ally as she walks on stage, I fumble with the small object in my pocket nervously as she walks closer. Everyone is so quiet, the quietest thing would be the loudest. "Apparently your heartbeat!Chill Theo!"
When Ally stops right in front of me, I take a deep breathe and continue, while I slip the object on my finger so when I move my hands it'll look like my ring. "Ally we've been though a lot, separate or together, good and bad, but like every other moment with you, they helped us bond more, and was memorable. Thats why, and so many more reasons, Ally"
I pause to get on one knee I say "I wasn't to give you this promise ring. I realize we are young, but you are the only one I've cared and loved for like this, I've know you were the one for a while now, but since we are still young, take this promise until the day I actually get down on one knee with a real proposal" As I finish talking the tears that threaten to fall were now streaming down her face, as I had some to.
Next thing I knew is Ally jumping on m, repeatedly saying yes. We hear a big "AW!" as a roar of applause pushed it's way though the gym, only getting louder, when I give Ally a small kiss, after getting up. All you could hear in that gym was "AW!" We both turn to the crowd with a blush and smile each as we walked back back to our seats.
Our principle, Mrs. Hollstien, walked to the stage, "Thanks you to everyone for their speech's" she paused to look at me and Ally " A huge thanks to Theo and Ally for those extremely heartfelt speech's and that proposal. I haven't felt such emotion, since when my own wife, Carmilla proposed" She said as she showed us her ring. She leaned closer to the mike, as if she was whispering, "And you all know she's not one for that "sentimental crap" as in her words" We all laugh. We're all heard the story of Carmilla, some have met her, including myself.
After the laughter died, Mrs Hollstein continued. "Thank you everyone for making this a memorable year" As a final joke she said "you can do that hat toss thing and storm out onto the football field, for real celebration" And that exactly what we did, cause it was apart of our destiny.
