Chapter Five // Midnight Messages

I yawned loudly, walking off the bus. I stretched my arms over my head, unamused. That was a horrible bus ride...

                               Flashback

I leaned back into the uncomfortable seat, letting out a yawn. I had to wake up in the middle of the night... for this?

My eyelids felt heavy, like concrete. I let them shut, hoping I might be able to at least get a wink of sleep on this stupid trip.

But, I just had to be related to Shoyo.

He poked my shoulder. "(Y/n)-Chann~! Aren't you excited for volleyball camp??" He questioned. I open one eye, looking at him lazily. I grunted in response, letting the eye fall shut.

I was so close to sleep, until...

Poke.

Poke.

"(Y/n)..?"

Poke.

                               End Of Flashback

I watched as Shoyo got off the bus, happily. He had a shine in his eyes as he stared at the building in front of us.

I glared daggers at him. I'm positive I have bags under my eyes. My eye twitched, how can he be so energetic at such a time? It's 7:00 in the morning. While everyone else seemed sluggish and tired, Shoyo seemed the complete opposite.

I just shrugged it off. God damn it Shoyo. When we get to our rooms, I'm going to bed.

I rolled over, bringing my knees up to my chest, in a more comfy position. The blankets were so soft, as I felt myself sink deeper into them, smiling at the warmth that they offered.

I heard a knock at my door, before a familiar voice was heard from behind it.

"(Y/n)-Chan? Dinner is ready."

The knocking sounded again, as I groaned and lazily stood up. I walked over to the door, and opened it to see Shoyo.

"(Y/n)! Were you sleeping?"

I glared at him, which gave him the answer. "Hehe, well you should come down soon or the food will be cold." He said nonchalant, walking off.

I walked back in my room and quickly changed, and fixed my messy hair.

After I was done getting ready, I walked out of me and Kioko's room, and to the kitchen.

I had to share a room with Kioko since we're both girls, it was for the better though... we wouldn't want to suffer sleeping in the same room as the boys.

Once I was in the kitchen, I grabbed my food and sat at the table quietly. Everyone was so rowdy, shouting while eating their food. I honestly just wanted to eat and go back to sleep... I couldn't even begin to tell you how tired I truly am.

As I finished my food, I got up to leave but was stopped. Kageyama held my wrist tightly, his cold gaze fixated on me. I swallowed nervously. Kageyama was scary when he's mad.
