Doctor

When Scotty and Kristen came back, we celebrated their marriage by going to Vegas and getting super drunk. It had been a month since then.

I woke up after having had a sleepover with Kristen since Scotty was out with David and the guys for Playlist. "Morning, Kris." She waved and covered her mouth. Her eyes widened and she ran to the bathroom. I rushed after her and held her hair as she threw up into the toilet. She sat there sobbing as I put her hair in a messy bun and made my way to the kitchen to bring her a cup of water.

She sniffled and drank the water. "I need to go to the doctor." I nodded and helped her stand. I grabbed my phone and called Liza.

"Hello?"
"Liza?"
"Yeah, what's up?"
"I'm taking Kristen to the doctor. Meet me there."
"On my way."

I put my phone in my pocket and walked with Kristen out of the apartment and down to the parking garage. "Are you okay?" She shook her head and moaned in pain. "This has been happening for two weeks now!" My eyes widened at her statement and I sped to the hospital. "When was your last period?" She moved her head around in thought. "It was last month around this time, which means I should have gotten it two days ago. Which means I'm late. Which means I'm, or I could be..." I looked at her in shock and picked up my speed to get her to the doctor's office faster.

When we arrived, Liza was jumping out of her car with Gabbie close by. "What happened?" Kristen explained everything and I squealed in excitement. Gabbie and Liza contained their excitement as we sat in the waiting room with Kristen. "Audrie, will you go in with me? If it's true that I am pregnant, I want you to be his or her's godmother." Liza and Gabbie smiled and I beamed at my best friend. "I would be honored to be the godmother of your baby."

A few minutes passed until a nurse popped out and said, "Kristen Sire!" Kristen exhaled deeply and I comfortingly touched her arm. "Come on. You'll be fine." "Hey, Kristen, don't worry about being a mom. You'll be fine. Besides, you've got about at least ten people who will help you raise the kid. Granted, he or she won't be completely normal, but at least he or she will be loved." Gabbie ranted before hugging Kristen. Liza nodded in agreement with Gabbie and said, "Im praying for you, girl." Kristen smiled and thanked them before looking at me and walking to the door that would lead us to find out her future.

I walked out of the room and made my way to my sister and Gabbie. "What happened?" Liza jumped out of her seat when she saw me. Gabbie rushed over to Kristen who was behind her and I looked over at her waiting for the news to be spilled. Kristen's face broke into a grin. "I'm pregnant!" We all screamed, much to other people's annoyance, and had a mini celebratory moment before going to our respective cars and driving to David's house.

Once we arrived at David's house, I took out my camera and recorded Kristen who was drawing a shirt design for new Scotty merch that would be the way she was going to reveal to him and all the fans about the baby. "You should FaceTime David and let him in on this." I nodded and handed my camera to Gabbie.

"What's up, babe?" David's giant smile greeted me once he picked up.
"Hey, love, are you alone?"
"Yeah, I'm just finishing packing up. Why, what's up?"
"Scott's not with you right?"
"No. Tell me what's up!"
"So I have a bit for your newest vlog. It's part bit part baby reveal."
"You're pregnant?"
"No, dipshit! Kristen's pregnant!"
"Oh, shit, congrats Kristen! Okay, so what are you guys thinking?"

Kristen took my phone and started explaining everything.

"I'm designing a shirt for new Scotty merch which will be fake merch but it's going to be a way to announce my pregnancy not just to him but to the fans as well."
"That's not a terrible idea. Send me a picture of the design so I can make shirts for all of us and we can all announce it."

I got my phone back and smiled excitedly.

"I'm excited!"
"I know you are. I'll see you tomorrow okay?"
"Okay. Bye, I love you."
"I love you too. Bye."

I hung up and squealed in excitement. Liza grinned at me and Gabbie set my camera on the counter. "So, how are things with David?" I shrugged and poured myself some juice. "We're happy. David and I are happy." Liza frowned and continued, "You don't sound so convinced. You haven't seen him in days."
"That doesn't mean I don't love him. It doesn't mean I'm not happy being with him."
Kristen pointed her pencil at me. "Yeah but if you guys spend too much time apart, your sex is gonna get worse."
"We haven't had sex."
Liza smiled and fiddled with the hem of her shirt. Gabbie and Kristen looked shocked at my statement. "You're such a liar, Audrie!" Gabbie yelled.
"I'm not lying. I'm waiting for marriage."
"She's a woman of God, Gabbie, let her be."
"Audrie and Liza. The Koshy sisters. Two virgins who don't know the complete and utter pleasure that comes with sex."
I drank my juice and washed my cup. "I don't mind waiting. I know what my morals are and you don't have to agree with them."

Kristen smiled at me and rubbed her stomach. "Sex got me nine months free of a period but months of pain and torture." I shook my head. "No, Kris, it got you 18 years of pain and suffering. That kid is not leaving you until he or she is 18 and legal to make his or her own decisions." We laughed at Kristen's reaction and continued to talk and laugh. And for a while we were just girls in the city who had no problems.

No one could've warned us about the storm headed our way.
