We all arrived at the apartment and walked inside. David came up to all of us and started rambling.
"Okay, I need all of you - yes, Aud, you too - to blindfold yourselves and come with me. Or actually, no, just Scott come with me and the rest of you go hang out in Alex's room and wait for me." We all reluctantly obliged and I realized what a mistake it was to come get my car today. I groaned and looked around for a towel when a black shirt was thrusted at me. I looked over and saw Todd shirtless. "Really? You're encouraging this?" He shrugged. "I mean, if I go before you, I'll just end up stabbing it and letting the corpse sit in your body," he grinned. I playfully slapped his arm and took the shirt and tied it around my head.

"Come on, Aud." I walked forward when I felt a pair of arms on my shoulders guiding me to a different direction. "You almost walked straight into the bathtub." Alex was laughing in front of me. "Does Alex have your camera, David?" David laughed and confirmed my suspicions. After a few seconds we stopped moving and David moved his arms from my shoulders. "Lie down on the floor." I groaned and complied to his insanity. I felt someone breathing in my ear which caused me to scream. "Who was that?!" The room bursted with laughter and I chuckled nervously. "Don't sweat it baby, it's just me." I swatted my hand in am attempt to hit Zane but failed miserably. "All right, all right, calm down now. Here we go. When I say you can look, take off the shirt. Not the shirt you're wearing, I mean, the one on your face." I laughed and nodded my head in understanding. I felt something land on my body and squirmed when it began crawling. "David, David, what is that?! Oh my God, I'm going to die!" David was just laughing with everyone else. "Okay you can look." I took off the shirt and saw a giant spider crawling all over my body. I felt my whole body go numb and I looked at David and reached out for him. "DAVID, GET IT OFF! PLEASE, PLEASE, GET IT OFF!" I grabbed onto him and pulled myself up and saw the spider still crawling around which caused me to twist in a way I shouldn't have twisted. The crack that followed made me just freeze and silenced the whole room.

I looked at my arm to see something sticking out and then looked at David who had turned off his camera and threw it at the couch. I looked back down at my shirt and saw the spider wasn't there anymore. I couldn't hear anything as I saw Dom running towards me, Alex running to grab his phone, Jason grabbing his keys, Todd running with Jason, Scott running to the freezer, and David grabbing my broken arm. I felt someone pick me up and lie me down on the couch with my arm stretched out. I looked to my right and saw Dom yelling things at me, to which I couldn't comprehend. I saw Josh and David holding my arm. Dom grabbed the shirt I had tied around my eyes, rolled it up, and put it by my mouth. I looked at my arm again and realized what was about to happen and clamped onto the shirt. The pop I heard made me scream like there was no tomorrow. Everything was so muffled, but I slowly felt everything coming back.
"Why would you even attempt that stupid stunt if you knew she was afraid of spiders?!" That was Dom.
"I didn't know!" David.
"This is why we ask questions about the people we befriend, David!" That was Josh.
"Hold on, baby, we're almost at the car." Zane.
"I got the ice! Here keep pressure on that, Josh." Scott.
How was I moving?
I snapped out of my trance and saw that David was running with me in his arms. Strong lad. Did I just think that? I must have been in a serious amount of pain.
We got out of the elevator when I succumbed to the fast approaching darkness.

~three hours later~

I opened my eyes and saw white. "Oh my God." I moved my gaze to my left and saw Liza rushing over to me. "Aud, are you all right?" I looked at my right arm.  It was in a cast. I chuckled and looked back at Liza. "David Dobrik broke my arm." Liza scowled at the door and went to go open it. "David Dobrik, get your ass in this room right now!" I stopped laughing when I heard my sister scream like that. David walked into the room and saw me awake and in a cast. "Audrie, I'm so sorry. I should've asked you about things like this." I was about to respond when Liza grabbed him by the ear. "You are the cause of this? Part of me isn't even surprised. The worst part is that I had already told you to stay away from my sister and you still did whatever you wanted!" David looked at her in annoyance. "Okay, first off, Audrie is am adult who can make her own decisions. You never stopped Dom and Heath from befriending her and you never seem to care when one of the guys attempts to flirt with her. But of course, when it comes to me, I'm the devil incarnate." I had never seen David angry before, but I had to say it did attract me to him a lot more. Wait, what?

The next day, I was released from the hospital. Everyone went in their own cars or got a ride, but David went alone. "Audrie, get in the car." I looked at Liza and back at David who was getting into his car. "I'll see you later, Liza." I made my way over to the tesla and knocked on the passenger side window. David looked at me startled and unlocked the car. I got in and thanked him for the ride. "I'm sorry, Audrie." I shifted my broken arm to a point where the seatbelt wouldn't make me uncomfortable. "It's not your fault. You didn't know. Contrary to what you may think, I'm actually amused that I broke my arm in your apartment." He looked at me bewildered. "How so?"
"Well, for one, you all do so many stupid things and rarely face consequences, yet when I go and try to participate in your stupid things, I get hurt. It's kind of ironic and it amuses me." I felt the tension in the car lift as David's face lit back up and he laughed at my outlook on the whole event. "Yeah, I guess you're right. All right, where do I take you?" I looked out the window and shrugged. "I guess back to Liza's place. She's got a whole lecture waiting for me." David laughed and drove me to my apartment. "I do want to know though, why is Liza so hostile to you?" David shifted uncomfortably and tightened his grip on the steering wheel. "That is something Liza should tell you. When she's ready, of course." I nodded and looked forward and enjoyed the ride back home.
