As the driver pulls out of the drive way, Luke passes me his jacket and I wrap it around me. It's long enough to go down to my thighs. I bring my knees to my chest and stare out the window. Hot tears run down my face, of fear and of relief.

I watch Luke look in the front mirror, checking out the finger prints that are still on his neck. Everyone is silent, but I catch the driver and the girl stealing glances at Luke, probably wondering what happened.

The girl next to me leans down and grabs a bag and faces towards me. "Here, let me help you," she says to me.

She start cleaning my cuts and bruises. She wanted to do my hair and make up, so I let her, since I had a feeling this would be a long ride. When she finishes we make small conversation, and I find out her name is Jessie.

We pull up to a Walmart. They all get out, so I follow. I straighten out the sweater, bringing it halfway down my thighs. It will do for now. We walk in and me and Jessie go pick out some cloths. The guys are going to get food for us.

"What happened to Luke?" She whispers quietly to me.

"That man strangled him, I think he was going to kill him."

Jessie stares sadly at the ground. She's quiet for a few moments, then looks at me.

"Do you know who that man is?" She suddenly asks. I shake my head.

"That's Luke's father," she says softly.

I stop walking. I know my expression gives away my shock, but I can't help it. His father tried to kill him. And I bet that time that he had gotten beaten really bad was also because of his father. How could that be possible? Parents are supposed to be loving and caring! Not perverted and psychotic!

"Oh..." Is all I manage to say.

We meet up with the guys. I Change in a bathroom, then we all get into the car with the food. Luke has a scarf to cover his neck now. I eat some French fries and listen to Luke and the drivers conversation.

"No Mason, he didn't. I came in right before he did. Unless that wasn't his first time?" Luke says to the driver.

I guess the drivers name is mason. He looks about our age, and same with Jessie.

"We should get her some morning after pills, just in case," Mason says in a low voice, but I hear it clearly.

My mouth drops. They were talking about me? I did NOT need the morning after pills. I guess they heard me gasp because they both looked back at me. I play with my fingers awkwardly.

"I don't need them. Nothing happened," I say quietly.

Mason goes back to driving. Luke nods his head and looks into my eyes.

"Are you okay?" He asks softly.

I nod. I was still mad at him for leaving me there. But then why did he come back? Why are all my emotions so mixed up?

When the sun starts to rise we park at a nice apartment building. I think it was Mason's, and it was beautiful. One wall was just an entire window, and you could just look out at the city.

He said he had three rooms. Jessie ran, saying she called one for herself. Luke glanced at me. I looked away.

"I'll sleep on the couch," he says, his voice still a bit unsteady.

"No I will. Your still in a lot of pain," I say as I walk over to him.

I slowly remove his scarf. I thought by now the finger prints would be gone, but I can see marks where it is starting to bruise. I touch it and he winces.

I look up at him. "He hurt you...he was going to kill you.."

He nodded his head and looked away, but I saw it. I saw a tear fall.

"It's okay to cry..."

I hug him, he wasn't expecting it and was tense, but soon he hugged me back. He started crying harder. I rubbed his back.this is wrong. I'm comforting my kidnapper. But he needs it, he tries so hard to be strong...sometimes it's okay to cry.

He wipes his face and let's go of my, standing up straight. "We can share the room. I'll sleep on the ground," I say quietly.

He just nods, then walks into the room. I see that he left his phone in the couch. I glance at it. Nobody was in the living room but me...maybe I could just quickly call someone?

I walk over and grab the phone.
