Beep! Beep! Beep!

I groaned as I turned over in bed and shut my alarm off. It was around nine a.m., but still way too early to function. I looked to my side and saw that Joe wasn't beside me. I thought that was weird, but maybe he got up earlier and decided to let me sleep in.

I got out of bed and rubbed my eyes. I meandered my way to the stairs, then down to the kitchen. Still no sign of Joe. I shrugged and then walked around the house, thinking maybe he'd be in the music room or something. I walked in there and Joe was still no where to be found. I shrugged again, then went back to the kitchen because I was starving.

Once I got back there, I opened the fridge and grabbed a bottle of water as I looked for something to eat. That's when I saw a note on the side of my water bottle. I took it off and read it.

"Good morning baby! I know you're probably wondering where I am, but I'm fine. I've got a surprise for you, but you're going to have to solve some things first...

The first clue: You remember the day we met? I couldn't forget it. And surely you must remember where that was. If you do, get dressed and go there. Ask the girl at the desk for your next clue. Love you baby!"

Sneaky little bastard. I didn't have any plans to go anywhere today, but if it's for Joe, I'll gladly do it. I put the bottle down, then ran back upstairs and into our room. I put my shorts on and a shirt, then I ran into the bathroom. I brushed my teeth and did my hair as good as it was going to get. After that, I went back into the kitchen, grabbing the note Joe left and then the car keys. I walked outside and for into the vehicle. Of course I knew where I met Joe.

Frank's Fantastic Smoothies on the corner of 5th Ave. and 6th Street.

I started to drive towards that spot, and once I finally arrived, I hopped out of the vehicle and ran inside. I walked to the desk in back and a woman sat behind it.

"Hey!" she smiled. "I suppose you want your note, right?"

"That'd be great, Anna," I smiled.

"Here you go," she said as she handed me a blue piece of paper.

"Great! You figured out the first place! Now for your second clue: You remember where I took you on our first date? Not the first place, but the place where I ended the date? Go there and there will be a note taped to something we were sitting on," I read out loud.

"This is adorable," Anna chuckled.

"Thanks for the note!" I said as I ran out of the building.

"Welcome!" she shouted back.

I hopped back into the vehicle then drove to Fisherman's Beach. That's where Joe finished our first date. It was so romantic. Anyway, once I got there, I knew exactly where we sat and looked up at the stars. I got out of the vehicle and ran to the shoreline of the beach. There was a bunch of rocks towards one end and that's where we sat. I ran over to them and saw another blue note duct taped to a rock. I pulled it off of it, then opened it up.

"You're doing great! Just two more, I promise! Ok, I lied; there's three," I laughed to myself after I read that part. "Anyway, here's your next clue: You have to remember where we shared our first kiss. That wonderful, unforgettable kiss. If you remember, go to that spot and there will be a note taped to the tree we were leaning against."

I ran back to the vehicle and got back in, setting the note on the others on the seat next to me. I made my way to Central Park in the middle of town. He brought me there for our third date and he kissed me for the first time. Once I got there, I got out and ran to the side of the park, near the trees. I knew exactly which tree it was, and once I found it, I looked behind it and found another note.

"You're on a fucking roll, babe! Anyway, now just two more! Here's your next task: I need you to go to Pete and Patrick's place, knock three times on their door, then they'll let you in. They'll give you something to put on, so do that, then one of them should give you your last note," I read.

Pete and Patrick's place wasn't too far from here, so I hopped back into the vehicle and drove there. Once I got there, I knocked three times on their door like Joe said in the note. Patrick opened the door and smiled, the ushered me in.

"Hey man!" Pete said as he appeared.

"Hey!" I said.

"You wondering what the hell is going on yet?" Patrick asked.

"Been wondering since I found the first note," I chuckled.

"Well, go upstairs and go into the first bathroom in the left. Change into what's in there on the sink, then come back down here and we'll give you your last note," Patrick explained.

"Thanks guys!" I said as I took off up the stairs.

I walked into the bathroom I was told to, then closed the door behind me. I looked in the sink and there was a suit. A suit? Anyway, I changed into the suit and just left my clothes in the bathroom. I'm on a mission, so Pete and Patrick can deal with it. I ran back downstairs and met back up with Pete and Patrick.

"Looking good, man!" Pete said as he whistled.

"Jackass," I laughed.

"Anyway, here's your last note," Patrick said as he gave me a blue piece of paper.

"Yay! This is your last note! And here's the last task: Go to the edge of town near Wood-Creek Woods. Go to the pathway named "Wolf Trail" then walk down the path until you reach the opening. Have fun, babe!" I read.

"Run my boy! Run to your lover!" Pete said as he held the door open.

"Thanks!" I laughed.

I ran out to the vehicle again, then drove off towards the edge of town. Once I finally got there, I parked in the parking lot near the woods and then ran to the trail Joe had said. I just walked through the trail, because frankly, I did look pretty damn good and I didn't want to get all dirty.

After walking a good five minutes, I reached the clearing where all the trails end. It was a big open space in the middle of the woods. I looked around and looked for Joe. It wasn't long after that I spotted him and ran to him.

"What the hell?" I asked as I hugged him.

"Just come with me and you'll see," he smirked as he took my hand and led me down another trail.

We walked for another five minutes until we reached another clearing. Joe stood in front of me and told me to close my eyes. I obliged and then he led me somewhere. Once he told me to open my eyes, I did, and what I saw was something I didn't expect.

"J-Joe. What are you doing?" I asked as I looked down at Joe.

"I have an important question to ask you," he said as he adjusted his knee on the ground.

"Oh my god," I said.

"Andy Hurley, the love of my life, will you please do me the honor of marrying me?" Joe asked.

"Is that even a question?! Of course I will!" I said, then he slipped the ring on my finger.

"I love you baby," he said as he stood up and hugged me.

"I love you too," I said.

"Aww," I heard in the distance.

Pete, Patrick, Brendon, and Dallon had magically appeared and were watching the whole thing. I turned to Joe and he smirked. I hit his shoulder, then led me over to them. We all walked about another minute to another clearing. There was a little dance floor set up, along with speakers and soft music playing. How they all managed this, I will never know.

Joe led me over to the dance floor and we started dancing.

"You know, you're an idiot," I said.

"I know, but I'm your idiot and you're stuck with me," he smirked.

"And I couldn't be happier," I kissed him.
