I was born with a gift. The power to know what's to come, and how to fix it. I am a Dreamer. I was reborn four years before the Apocalypse. But it wasn't a zombie invasion or meteors, we ran out of everything: an economical crisis. The UN* accidentally leaked some information and the whole of society started to panic. People started to buy up on things, and before long everything ran out. The world split into five groups, the government, the military, the Fireflies (an activist group wanting to restore power to the government), the Hungers (a group that wanted society to have control over the world) and all the people who wouldn't choose a group. After the world split, it wasn't long before the first blood shed. It was over some berries in a forest. Soon it wasn't strange to hear of murders on the television. Brothers turned on sisters, friends turned on neighbours. You couldn't trust anyone. My mother and father tried to protect me, because they knew I was the key to saving humanity. They both died trying to protect me. Ever since I was eleven I've been on my own, or with someone else for a short period of time, until they too died. The government, military, Fireflies and the Hungers are all on my tail. Even so, I've made progress towards the safe zone. The safe zone is where I can put an end to the apocalypse. When I do, I'll die, but most forget that when a Dreamer dies they're always reborn. We don't have any control of when we're reborn, or who we come back as, but we can't stop it. I've been reborn twice already, once before and once after the apocalypse. I am Arrow and this is my story.

So, here is the first bit of my new book. It's loosely based on the video games Left Behind, Walking Dead and Beyond Two Souls(All of which I want to own.) Hopefully, this book will have more regular updates and will inspire me to update my other books. I haven't been updating, one because I've been caught up with school and two, I feel like no one, apart from my friends, are reading them. If you are, please comment or leave a like.
