Phoenix: These are not machines these are my family and yes I did. Now why are you here?

Ozpin: How about you put down my students and let them go and I'll answer any question you want.

I nod to Butterfly, she then turns her guns back into hands. Shadow and Numbfish follow her lead, I put down the two girls and the slowly move back not saying a word. I them turn my attention back to this Ozpin.

Phoenix: I have released you're students now answer my question. Why are you here?

Ozpin: Thank you for releasing them. The reason I'm here is because we wanted to see who was creating this amazing technology. Also I had a feeling that this technology had something to do with a facility that got wiped out ten years ago.

I look at him with a serious look in my eyes. 'If he is here to take me in I'll kill him myself'.

Phoenix: What connection do you have with that dreadful place?

Ozpin: 15 years ago I tried to get them to release what they were doing in there. But they never let me in or even give me the time of day. Do you by chance happen to know what they did inside there do you?

Phoenix: Yes I do.

Ozpin: Well can you tell me what they were doing and how long they were doing it for.

Phoenix: For 145 years they experimented on me.

The shocked look on his face made me kinda happy he doesn't seem to know to much or want to experiment on me. I then look at the others and just like Ozpin they all stand there shocked. Then the older women took a step forward and spoke.

Glynda: Hello sir my name is Glynda. Can I ask you something?

Phoenix: Hello Glynda I'm Phoenix it's a pleasure to meet you. And yes you can.

Glynda: You just said that they experimented on you 145 years right?

Phoenix: Yes they did. They did over 7000 tests in that period of time. And... you don't want to know what kind things they did to me.

They stare at me again in shock. Glynda then continues.

Glynda: How did you live so long then?

Phoenix: (sigh) You see I don't have a soul so I can't die. But I also don't have an aura or semblance. So that's why I am here creating AI and other things. These gauntlets and boots I'm wearing I created.

Once I finish Ozpin then speaks.

Ozpin: So you're the one that wiped that place out. I must thank you for that, we tried to but they had to many people and I didn't want to risk it.

I nod to him. Then I ask another question.

Phoenix: Now what do you want?

Ozpin: I would like for you to come work for us. With you're technology we-

Phoenix: No!

I say while interrupting him.

Ozpin: No what?

Phoenix: I will not go with you. The last time I did that the person I followed ended up chaining me to a wall and torturing me. And you will not have my technology no one will.

He shakes his head at me then smiles before saying.

Ozpin: Phoenix. If you would've let me finish, I would have told you that I was going to ask you if you would make upgraded weapons for my students. And also to ask you if you would help protect my students. And the final thing would have been to become a student of beacon.
