Valerie's POV
When we finished breakfast, we both went our separate ways to prepare for our meeting with Mr. Stark. I went home to my small apartment. It wasn't much, but I loved it.
The meeting required me to be dressed business attire. I choose a simple black dress. It showed off my figure but was still business appropriate. After I was dressed and had my make up and hair fixed I called Bruce to see if he was ready.
"Hey, I'm coming to pick you up, I'll be there in about five minute," Bruce said.
"Gotcha! See you when you get here," I said and hung up. As promised Bruce was here in exactly five minutes. When we arrived we took an elevator up and then walked into a conference room. There were about 20 people sitting around a large table.
"You told me it was just gonna be Mr. Stark," I whispered to Bruce. He just smirked. You know, I don't even know why this needed to be a huge meeting. Bruce and Mr. Stark were friends after all.
Oh well. The meeting went off without a hitch, thought to be honest I didn't really pay attention. Bruce and I waited until everyone else had left and then approached Mr.Stark.
"Tony, this is my assistant Valerie Torrence," Bruce said introducing us.
"We already met. It's nice to see you again Valerie," Tony said, smirking at me.
"Oh when did you two meet," Bruce asked.
"When I took a break the other day, I went to a cafe and we met there," I told him. "He's as big of a flirt as you said he was."
"Ok then," Bruce said laughingly.
