A small, ten year-old boy walked the streets alone.

The snow drifted slowly as he walked along the frozen sidewalk.

His feet were cold, his hair was nearly white from the snow, his arms bare and prickled with goosebumps, and his hands shoved into his thin jeans.

The clock almost at 12 am, but the snow had only grown harsher by the second.

When the clock struck 12, the boy fell to his knees, his snow-covered eyelashes fluttered.

He felt himself losing his focus, and he slowly fell forward.

But that moment, he was lifted from the ground, an ominous light surrounding him.

Suddenly, his eyes opened.

He witnessed a woman with white robes, her long hair was twisted into a blonde braid, her wings pure as the snow that covered the boy, her skin fair, and her blue eyes as clear as the sky.

"Chippy, wake my child." The woman said, placing her hand on his cold forehead.

The young boy suddenly opened his eyes, his brown orbs focusing on the woman.

He had heard of Guardian Angels before his parents died, but he never seen one with his own eyes.

"W-who are you, miss?" He softly whispered, a bit scared.

"I am an Angel, specifically, your Angel. You are the many few who did not wish for anything on Christmas."
