The First She Wolf

chapter 12

"There hasn't been a she-wolf so long.. How's this possible!" Kaden crawled to his feet getting up.

"This is why Alex was always in wolf form. She was keeping her identity a secret until you finally made her snap." Logan said folding his arms.

"We didn't want you all to know is because Darren and his army are trying to get her. Alexis is the only way to have a pure blood werewolf pup and that can give off pure blood alpha's that would be 10 times strong then one of us alone." Hunter said.

A few of the male wolves were looking at me with lust and I could even see some of their eyes switching from black to their normal eye colour. And then a loud growl rang through the air snapping all the alpha's out of their trans.

I looked to my right, I didn't even get to see who growled because I was pulled into a hard chest with arms protectively around me. And I didn't even have to look because of all the sparks I feel from the touch told who it was.

"Alpha Eric. Let my daughter go." My father roared.

"Mine!" Eric just snapped back.

Everyone's eyes went wide with shock and surprise. Mostly shock when both my brothers growled and even snarled at his out burst. Eric was growling back and held onto me tighter, so tight I'm being lifted off the ground.

"Okay..okay. Eric, you can let me go now or else your going to crush my ribs. And I don't want that to happen, I've put a lot of work into getting my body to look like this." I said trying to get out of his grip.

"Let her go." My father ordered.

And once again I'm being ignored and the males are yelling at each other.

"It's alright dad, Alpha Eric is my mate. Who is kind of crushing me while you'll yelling at him." I said.

Then all of a sudden his arms aren't holding onto me. My eyes widen, "oh no." Then I fall to the ground and landed on my behind.

"Ow. Really you had to drop me. You just had to." I crossed my arms over my chest well complaining to Eric.

"Sorry love." He chuckled and scratched the back of his neck.

"Zach, Luke and Logan. You and the Alpha's go get the rest of the wolf armors and give to those who don't have. Alexandra and Hunter get Gavin and Kyle and start your patrol. Send word if there is anything." My father ordered.

"Not to sound disrespecting. But Alexis and I can't mind link you and we can't until either Darren or his father is dead." Hunter stated.

"We will howl if we find anything." I said and got up dusting myself off.

"Alright go and be alert." He ordered.

Hunter and I ran out the tent and got Gavin and Kyle and ran to the forest edge.

"Alright Gavin you're at the North side, Kyle you're at the west side, Hunter east side and I'll head South. Remember if you find anything howl, stay alert boys and be careful."

They nodded and the two ran off Hunter stayed back for some reason.

"Alexis. I don't know if you had smelt it but when your mate's pack got here I smelt a sent I haven't in years." He said being all concerned.

"Now that you mention it." I looked around and sniffed the air that's when I got a hit.

"No fricken way." I said.

I took off running back to the camp ground.

"Wait Alex.!" Hunter whispered yelled and followed after me.

I jumped in the air and shifted with Hunter in his dark brown wolf and was next to me.

'Sniff him out. When you do don't do anything his all mine.' I snarled.

We split up and walked pass cabins and tents smelling them running from one to another. I checked the last one but nothing. Hunter came running to me.

'Find anything?' I asked.

'Nope not anymore.' He answered.

'That's funny it's as if he...." I stopped.

'Knew we were after him.' We said together.

"Looking for something? Or In fact someone?" A ma. Said behind us.

We turned around. What I saw will hunt me until this war is over. I snarled viciously and Hunter growled.

"Darren did say you two were the unstoppable when you were together. The two who could track anything and find it. Not to mention the best fighters that we have lost to the weak side of the battle."

'Hunter shift. If anyone comes past and see all they will hear is his side not ours.' I ordered.

He did as told and luckily he was able to shift back wearing his human armor clothes.

"What are doing here Jasper?" Hunter asked, you could clearly hear the anger in his voice.

"Oh me? Just sight seeing. Even though I can't see the plans or Eric can't tell me. Doesn't make me useless."

My eyes widened and my heart fell to my stomach.

"Oh yes. I'm your mate's beta. It was quite easy to fool him into thinking I was harmless, after his original beta died in battle he couldn't wait to get a new one." Jasper said.

I growled and stepped towards him. But he pulled out a phone with one hand and chuckled.

"One more step and it will be your last. All I have to do is give my brother a call." He bragged.

"And all she has to do is howl. And which one would come faster, your wolves? Or our wolves?" Hunter shot back.

"Hmm well played Hunter. But not that my cover is blown I must be off." He bowed and started running.

'Oh your not getting away that easily.' I growled.

I gave a bug and loud howl waking up everyone and run after him.

"Alex!"

I heard Hunter call out but I ignored him and kept on following Jasper.

"Alexis!"

"Alex!"

"Alexandra!"

I could hear my brothers and father yelling my name but I could stop it was as is I was in a hunting stage and wasn't going to lose my prey. I gained speed and had Jasper in my sight.

'You're mine now.'

"Well done Alex. Last I recall I was always faster then you when we were kids, and now here we are. You chasing me and might even be faster then me." Jasper blabbered.

I barked and nearly bit his leg but he jump over the river dodging my jaws perfectly. I couldn't stop and ended up falling into the river landing on some sharp rocks. I even heard a few cracks then pain in my ribs and left hind leg followed straight after. I resurfaced to see that he was gone.

I swam to shore and whimper in pain. I pulled myself up and out of the water and fell to the ground.

"Alex!" I heard someone yell.

Pain. There was just so much of it and I couldn't even feel my leg and I can't stand.

I whimpered as loudly as I could in hope of someone finding me. Then I heard footsteps coming me.

I felt hands pick up my head and laid it on their lap. I was in to much but I felt the sparks.

"I got you Alex. Just stay with me love. Stay with me." Eric cried.

Even with no tears in his eyes I knew he was sad. And that's all I heard and saw until I was sucked into darkness.
