Payton made his way through the day quickly, trying not to gain attention from the teachers or students. He huffed quietly, leaning against a tree. He didn't understand why someone would help him in any way- especially in the way that mysterion and his friends did.

He had noticed the bruises and the rope burns on his wrists. Payton had almost snorted when he first noticed the bruises, smirking due to the knowledge that his father really did deserve it.

As for his mother; well- she still hadn't returned from her business trip to New York. She was likely going to hang out with her friends as well.

Why she didn't just get a job in South Park was a question that would never be answered.

His thoughts drifted back to his old town- how he would often wander the streets at night and practice throwing axes at the throwing axe alley in buffalo every week or two.

God how he missed the great state of New York.

Payton's thoughts went back to the so called 'Mysterion'. Was he a big deal in South Park? He snorted at the thought of a teen doing a better job at catching criminals than the actual police.

But then again- maybe this town did need help getting rid of criminals.

Payton had lived in a small town much alike to South Park; the town even often being called a "safe haven" for criminals. He couldn't really do anything to help- mostly because of the coyotes that had infested the town.

It was quite literally, go outside at night and there's a 99.9% chance you'd be attacked.

Payton's lips twitched up into a smile, getting up from the ground and dusting himself off. He didn't have to worry about that anymore.

He grabbed his phone from his pocket, texting Kenny.

Dude, you wanna come over? My dad's not home.

He tapped his phone against the palm of his hand, almost jumping in excitement when his phone buzzed in reply a minute later.

Sure. I'll be there in a few minutes.

He quickly made his way home, wanting to be at his house before Kenny got there.

Okay. The door's open.

He smiled, making his way upstairs and grabbing a few old outfits as well as his old sewing kit. Payton couldn't wait to tell his friend about his new idea.

The idea that he could join a group of vigilantes.

Here.

Payton grinned, jumping up from his bed and carelessly running down the stairs. He let out a squeak of surprise as he tripped over his own feet, tumbling down the last few steps.

"Payton?" Kenny opened the door, looking around until he caught sight of Payton laying on the ground.

Payton let out a breathed laugh, covering his face with his arm. "I'm such a clutz"

"That you are" Kenny held out a hand to help Payton up, the teen almost jumping out of his skin at the sudden sound of Kenny's voice. Payton took the hand, accepting Kenny's help in getting up from the ground.

"Sorry 'bout that" Payton grinned, dusting himself off. He made a hand motion to go up the stairs, knowing that if he were to talk he would end in stuttering.

Payton led Kenny up to his room, leaving the door open. Kenny raised an eyebrow at the assortment of outfits on the bed, a few of then being dresses.

"Can you keep a secret?" Payton crossed his arms over his chest, questioning the other teen. He was going to be the first person in South Park that he has told about his "problem".

Payton's grin widened when Kenny nodded. "I'm trans" he quickly blurted out, not speaking after that; simply just examining Kenny's reaction.

Kenny smirked, removing his parks and placing it on as chair. "Knew it"

Payton stopped- his cheeks now coated with a light shade if pink from embarrassment, "Y-you did?" He mentally cursed himself for stuttering. Kenny nodded in reply, running a hand through his hair.

"When" He gently shook Kenny's shoulder's in question, jokingly narrowing his eyes. "When I carried you to the nurses office a few weeks ago" Kenny chuckled, grabbing Payton's hands and removing them from his shoulders.

Kenny pursed his lips, looking past Payton and at the assortment of clothing that had been layed on the bed. "So what's all this for?" Payton grinned, turning and sitting on the edge of the bed. "Ever heard of mysterion?"

Kenny nodded in reply, narrowing his eyes a bit. "Yeah. Why?" Payton jumped in excitement, almost skipping back over to the bed before turning and grinning at him. A light blush coated Kenny's cheeks at the sight of the other teen's antics. Payton was cute; he couldn't help but admit that.

"I'm gonna become a vigilante like him"
