What Marcus said ran through my mind for the next full day, I sat in English, Marcus sat across from me.
"Today we will be watching 'The Vow' ahh my favourite. I think it the fact that even after she has memory loss, he makes her fall in love with him all over again, same with the movie 50 first days, he always finds new ways to make her fall in love with him every single day.

I was deep into the movie, when I felt something hit my face, I ignored it, then it happened again, I turn round to be hit in the eye
"Oh shit, I'm so sorry Sophs" Marcus whispered, oh great.
"Why the hell would you do that, Marcus" I said rubbing my eye.
"Are you okay"
"Physically yes, mentally NO" I whispered harshly.

"Ahh Marcus, tell me what is love"
He cleared his throat
"Love is when two people touch each other's souls. Love is honesty and trust. Love is helping each other through good and bad times. Love is mutual respect. Love means differences can be worked out. Love means reaching your dreams together. Love is the connection of two hearts... Mines and hers" Marcus said this eyes locked with mine, butterflies erupt in my stomach

"If you love someone, you better prove it, because love is not a noun to be defined, but a verb to be acted upon" I said breaking the eye contact

"Well what happens when the girl doesn't let you, even though you try and try each day"

"Well maybe you shouldn't have broken her trust, and maybe she would let you love her"

"I've already told her I loved her"

"But it didn't stop you from going to someone else"

"I told her I only went to see her to tell her I didn't want her, it's better saying it face to face than over text" he said and then the bell rang, I grabbed my bag and ran out the door, down the corridor, I ran into the girls bathroom where I came face to face with Zoey, I turn round to walk out,
"I hope you're happy, the only boy I had feeling for, denied me for you, I don't know why but he did, he must really like you! Now fuck off out my face please" she said looking in the mirror and fixing her lipstick, I walked out quickly, so he never done anything with her, he really did tell her it was over.

"Sophs, Sophs" I heard my name being shouted, then a kiss been planted on my lips, Marcus, I couldn't help but smile. I was being so stupid.

"I'm so sorry, I honestl-" I cut him off with a kiss, and I pulled away
"I love you too Marcus" I said smiling
