After Class

Two years ago a spooky news once spread in town, that one of the schools there namely the Madison High school known as “The Devil Lair” was haunted every night and is now one of the most popular occults in town.

“What a Beautiful Day ahead of me” admired Alice, a third-year high school student in Madison High School as she walks toward the “Devil Lair” then all of a sudden, she saw Kim, and her day was already ruined.

“Move farther IDIOT!”

“Are you insane? Then what about the one who is sitting beside me?!”

“Then move at the back!”

“Then I would be scolded! Are you even THINKING?!”

Quarrelled Alice and Kim, “You two, you will have to clean the classroom for a month after school!” scolded their teacher who was merely explaining in front of the class, the whole class began murmuring, cause no one ever experienced being in school that late for everyone was scared of the school at night. Both of them began to look at each other like rivals ready to kill their opponent not showing any kind of fear.

After class, Alice and Kim were left alone in the classroom, but Kim out of the blue leave the classroom.

“Hey where are you going?” asked Alice

“home... I want to sleep” Kim sighs

“Huh??..., what about cleaning don’t tell me you’re not going to clean and leave me alone here cleaning ALL BY MYSELF!” shouted Alice

“obviously... yes” replied Kim leaving the room.

”That Kim, who does he think he is, leaving me here when he was the one that caused this trouble, Hmph! I’ll show you who you’re dealing with” thought Alice.

The next day Alice, went to school late (it was already after lunch at that time) with an arm bandage on her right shoulder ...

“I am very sorry sir for being late and also I got permission from my adviser that I will not be cleaning the classroom after school until my arm is in good condition” apologized Alice,

“What happen to you?, how did you got that injury?” asked their teacher

“well on my way down to the stairs, I tripped then fell” replied Alice

“good thing it was only your arm Alice, if not... you are stuck in this school, it will be already dark when help comes, and we all know about the spooky news” told her classmate, then she went to her chair beside Kim.

Alice was actually fooling them; the arm injury on her right shoulder was just a play so she could get her revenge on Kim. She glared at Kim’s side wanting to tease him, but she was surprised when she found out that Kim was sound asleep. “Urgh! This boy! , he said he was going to sleep yesterday after leaving the cleaning chores to me and now his sleeping again! Just who is he?  My grandfather!” Alice thought.

After class, they were alone again Alice woke Kim up... “Stupid” was his first answer.

Alice stood there and rage with anger and hit Kim with her bag, suddenly Kim with one stroke pulled her bandages away from her.

“I know you’re pretending” said Kim with those icy cold eyes glaring at Alice while holding her right hand tightly “and I am going to report it to our adviser....” continued Kim with a grinning smile.

“Wait! What?!!” said Alice trying to escape.

All of a sudden Kim took a picture of Alice trying to let go of her right hand, meaning the picture was a proof that Alice can move her right hand.

“What was that?” asked Alice,

“I am going to show this to our adviser... later!” replied Kim happily leaving Alice again.

“But..., but I will get a punishment and could even fail!” shouted Alice “So?” replied Kim, “a cold-hearted demon is standing in front of me” whispered Alice.

“I will be silent about this matter on one condition... you will be my slave from 5 at noon until midnight for a month, how’s that for you?” there was silence in the air, Alice clenched her hand, hold into her pride and said “Fine, I’ll do it!”
