After class chapter 6: Start!

“Well, Today’s another DAY!”

I rushed to the school excitingly as I vision our upcoming school festival! I’m so E-X-C-I-T-E-D! I reached our school gates and was greeted by my friends “Our director is here” Patricia said looking at me

“I am Indeed!” I replied proudly though there’s a lot of things that must be done for our class, we’re having a parade.

“Everyone! We are two weeks away from the festival, so LET’S DO THIS!!” Our parade is going to be amazing! I’m sure of it! As the head of the parade, I must do my best!

After Class...

(Sigh) I said those things without thinking, it sure will be busy. First, I need to ask around the neighbourhood if they have any clothing to donate then the sewing materials, and then I should ask our teacher about the budget after that I need to inform the student council about our float then the-

“Oi! Where do you think you’re going?” I stopped as I heard Kim’s voice, I was walking home unconsciously!

“My mind’s a mess” I said turning around...

I then noticed that Lia came with Kim “they sure are close” I said in a very soft voice, soft yet prickly kind of voice...

Hours went by and the more my mind’s confused. I stare at the big dark sky and saw them together...

“What is this?” I said and fainted in the big old tree

“I’m falling.... Kim...”

*thud*

I woke up in my room, my head has bandage and my heart pulled out as I realize that Kim didn’t save me...

“Well...time for school!” I charged to today and forget last night.

It seems a New Start has begun...

Kim told me not to attend the night activities until the festival is over; I just lowered my head thinking

“Yeah I guess that’s better, but... I don’t want that”

When I lifted my head Kim is gone.

It’s been A week since that incident

A week since I’ve rested as a “servant”

A week since I’ve never seen Lia

A week since Kim and I departed.

The sun goes down and the wind passes right beneath my hair, the class is empty beside me and him, then silence prevails...

“Aren’t you going home?” Kim asks as he awakes form his long sleep.

I thought, I’m useless aren’t I? But!

“I believe that I don’t have such pride as to wait my master any longer” I replied

“Tsk such tough words for a mere servant” he said

“You bet!” I said as I walked out of the room and saw Lia waiting outside.

“Alice! It’s been so long!” Lia hugged me tight. “Though the festival isn’t over yet, are you sure you’re going to attend today?” she continued.

I nod my head twice no thrice, probably because I want her to know that I want it.
