After class Chapter 3:  The visit to the Knightwalkers

Next Day…. (After class)

Both Alice and Kim are in the school’s garden, (walking) “hey, I have a question about…” then Alice whispers “vampires, is it ok?” she continued as they sit on the bench.

“If you’re going talked about vampires, then would it be like this: ‘if eating garlic would make them vanish or seeing a cross sign would make them afraid, or even vampires sleeping in coffins and vampires turning to bats’, then… NO! I’m not like that” Kim sighed. “Ahhh….” Alice replied.

A wind then blows between the two of them and silence prevailed in just a few minutes “wait! What about powers? Can you read minds or can you fly?” asked Alice,

“No stupid, I’ am a vampire, but that doesn’t mean that I have powers that of a vampire, the only part vampire in me, is that I ONLY drink blood to make people forget it’s for emergencies ONLY and I don’t crave for them… well, not yet… not till I reached adulthood.”

“In short..”Kim continued proudly “I’ am just a strong, fast and a blood-drinker human part vampire.”

“Oh so that’s why he’s good at sports” Alice thought.

After explaining, Kim stood up and told Alice that she’s going to meet his family, Alice stood up and asked “when?” as she sighed. Suddenly Kim carried Alice like a princess “Now” he answered, “Wait! Hold on a minute!! Put me DOWN!!!!!!” and Kim ran fast and jump to the roofs of the houses (imagine “INUYASHA”) carrying Alice.

Alice felt shy, but she didn’t let her shyness miss the beautiful view she’s having. “YEAH!!” “Hey I’m not A RIDE!” and so off they went to Kim’s house.

“Hey, if you’re here then, who’s going to stay at the school?” asked Alice

 “My older brother is already there, he can take care of it”

“So…. can you tell me what your family is like?”

“A bunch of idiots, well except for my little sister, she’s an angel”

“It’s no use talking to him, he always describe people as idiots, I guess it would be better knowing them myself” and so they reached the Knightwalkers’ household.

Alice was surprised to what she saw; there was a clean, sparkling, beautiful mansion with a wide yard in front of it. Alice wide-eyed stared at it, “What do you think? A creepy-old dark mansion?” laughed Kim.

As they went inside they we’re greeted “Good afternoon” said a man with a big smile wearing an apron on him, he seems to be cooking. “This is dad” introduced Kim.

“Big brother, big brother!!” a 5-year old girl ran towards Kim.

“An Angel….”Alice stared. 

“Yup, she’s truly a wonderful Angel” replied Kim in agreement.

The little girl named Anna, went to Alice and asked with a cute smile,“Will you let me accompany you?” “Umm…” Alice talked as she noticed that her back Kim raging with fire is staring at her “Y….ye..Yes, you may”.

They roam around the mansion, saw rooms filled with antiques and that’s when Alice noticed, a room in a very dark corner.

“What about that one?” asked Alice as she walks towards it but, when she was about to touch the doorknob, Kim suddenly pull her away from it “that must be your room, isn’t it?” Alice grinned. “Trips over! Let’s go to the living room” Kim replied as he hurriedly walks toward another direction.

Anna then pulled Alice’s skirt and said “Big sister, would you like to check out that room later?”

“Really? Yes I would love to do that!” Alice replied delightfully.

“Wait, why am I even here in the first place?” Alice thought. As she walks toward the Living room she felt a shiver in her hand and don’t even know why it felt as if she was entering a dark-cold place.

When they entered the room, it was really dark there were no lamps or bulbs for light just candles and it didn’t even have windows inside, she saw a woman dressed in a red gown, strictly staring at her. Mr. Knightwalker and Anna then left the room and closed it.

“Good Evening to you my dear” said the woman “I’ am Kim’s mother, Donna Knightwalker, I wish to talk to you that’s why I told Kim to let you come here today, is that fine with you?” she continued smiling. 

Alice felt welcomed to meet Kim’s mother but, she doesn’t understand why until now she still feel like shivering.

Kim patted Alices’ head and said “I’ll be outside”. And with her hand, Alice punched Kim so hard that he flew outside the door and shouted “I’M NOT YOUR DOG SO STOP PATTING MY HEAD!!!” Kim’s mother giggled. “Oh, I’m sorry for the rudeness” Alice apologized.

“Let’s start the talk shall we?” “Mrs. Knightwalker is so elegant” admired Alice, as they both sit down.

Donna started, she told Alice, about the descendants of the Knightwalker; about the fate that has bounded them to the school. “Kim told me that you already know about the sorcerer and the reviving of the dead, turning the school a ground of zombies each night but, what the both of you don’t know is that there is no such things as spells that would last for an eternity, the reason why the spell is still working until now is because the sorcerer buried himself in the school grounds, we tried to dig your school’s ground but it seems that it’s hidden somewhere we can’t reach, plus our movement was limited because the higher-ups won’t allow it."

"We have a theory ..." she continued "based on our investigations that the only thing that can stop this spell is that a sorcerer must undo the spell but… unfortunately, the sorcerers have been extinct a long time ago, still we can’t let this spell be alive for too long” 

Alice can see Donna’s eagerness in those burning red eyes. “Don’t worry, I will help you with all I can”

“I appreciate it very much, we still have luck, I’ve read my father’s diary, it says in there that, “that powerful someone” has a daughter, she might have inherited the “power”, we’re still searching for her though”.

After that Kim went inside, took Alice and went back to the school hurriedly. “Hey wait! I’m still talking to your mom!”

“No time, zombies on rage”

 “WHAT!!”

“These zombies are unpredictable, once they’re on rage there’s no end to it until sunrise.”
