Chapter 5: "Lia?!"

After Class (Chapter 5)

“Lia?!”

NOTE: From this part on, Alice is the one continuing the story.

“The fight still goes on... but, since its 2AM already I doubt that anyone will pass by and you still have classes tomorrow... so you can now go home” I heard a voice below me. A girl in an all black suit that only her eyes can be seen, her hair tied up at her back is long and colour silky brown and I knew that she is one of the back-ups.

“Oh... I see, by the way my name is Alice”

“Nice to meet you, my name is Lia” and as Lia says this she went up to the tree in a blink of an eye. I, in amazement asked “Are you a vampire too?”

“No, only master Kim has that power, some of the back-ups here are gunmen mostly ninjas including me.”

Lia then takes Kim and put him inside the car.

“Can you go down by yourself?” asked Lia.

 “Yup I can”

“Ok then, I’ll see you around” as she went inside the car and was ready to go

“Right! Bye!!” and thus we separate ways.

I walked home alone and sigh really deep “How am I able to sleep, knowing that the fight isn’t over yet?”

The Next Day...

“The skies are pretty today aren’t they?” as I walk towards Madison High...

“Yup they sure are, but... I think a storm is coming” I heard a familiar voice behind me so I quickly turn around.

“LIA!”

“Hi Alice! Good morning” she said with a radiant smile. I then noticed that she was wearing a Madison High uniform, in surprised I shouted despite people around, it was so embarrassing.

“Do you like it?” she asked. “Of course I like it, she looks utterly cute in that uniform with her brown hair laid at her back plus, she is tall with a good posture LIKE A MODEL!” that’s what I thought, but I didn’t said it instead I questioned her.

“Why are you wearing our uniform?”

“As of today, I’m your new schoolmate... since yesterday, Madam Knightwalker really looked pale and was so worried so she sent me to look after Master Kim and support you guys in your night activities.” she said excitingly.

“And by the way” She continued “I saw this camera on Master Kim’s hand yesterday, when I put him inside the car, there was a picture of you so I didn’t returned it yet.”

“YES! MUWAHAHAHA (evil laugh) Thank you so much lia! Wahh!! YES!” I shouted merrily.

But... As I looked at the camera, I did saw myself in it, but it was when Kim took off my bandages (refer to Chapter one) “The Blackmail” photo which made me a lookout, be involved in vampires and zombies in situations where I may die! And most of all it made me get close to him. I smiled remembering the past days I have been with him.

“You better return it to him, he will panic when he realizes it’s lost.” I said.

“Okay?” Lia replied.

“So, what class are you in?” I asked

“Class B-2”

“Uwahh! You’re younger than me?!”

“Yup”   

They entered the gates to the Madison High and saw Kim waiting for them.

“Geez, you two are so slow” Kim said  

“I’m so sorry Master Kim” Lia apologized as she bowed down her head. “Don’t call me master here” replied Kim “Understood” Lia replied in a soft voice.

In class (Lunch time)

“Alice, how are things going around with you and Kim?” asked Kayne. “Yeah I get the feeling that you two are close PLUS you don’t fight much anymore hmm... Well, since you’re also half of the day asleep in class.” Patricia added.

“Eh... eh... well...” I said looking out of the window thinking for excuses, when suddenly I saw Lia walk straight in front of Kim’s chair, the whole class was staring at her!

“Lia?” I said in confusion to myself.

Lia thought that she doesn’t know what to call Master Kim so an idea just sprung on her mind. “Mast-... wait uhh... blank Kim” “Well that was nice...” I said to myself.

Kim rose up from his sleep and yawn at her. “I brought you your lunch” Lia said smiling again and I began to wonder how she looks when she’s mad hmm...

“Oh lia...” as Kim rubs his sleepy eyes “wait LIA!” “yes?” Lia nodded. As she replied Kim grab her hand and went out of the class straight to the rooftop. I (Alice) as the one who knows their “secret” thinks I should follow them... but wait ... why? I’m not needed there and even though I know the “secret” I think it’s best for me to not get involve too much. My classmates are already noticing us so I think with Lia around things will get more... wild??? As I thought this, pictures of Lia being a ninja and stuffs like that approached my mind.

“With Lia around things will get MORE WILD AS IT IS!” I said out loud.

“A..Al..Alice? Is something wrong? Said Kayne.

“I’ll follow them, If I don’t get updated of the things happening, my life will get more complicated. I’m already involved anyway.” I thought as I dashed out the room and went straight to the rooftop.

“Alice?” questioned Kayne, my friend. Patricia sighed (also my friend :D) “Our girl is growing up, she is too obvious when it comes to things like Kim.” Patricia continued. “Yeah, don’t worry she’s smart enough to know what to do.” Kayne added.

I rushed to Kim’s side as I saw them.

“What’s up Lia?” I asked, asking myself why I came up with such an ODD greeting.

“Oh Alice-” Lia greeted but, her sentence was cut.

“What are you doing here idiot?” added Kim.

“Shut up I just wanted to umm... check on Lia! Yeah that’s right! Lia how’s your first day?” I asked.

“First day? ... it was fun, I get to meet new friends! Oh and do you want to have a bento (rice in Japan) I made an extra just in case.”

“Well I haven’t eaten yet so I’ll have it Thank you!”

“(Sigh) I can’t believe I’m having lunch with these silly girls” Kim whispered.

After Class...

When all the students are out of the classroom, the skies were beautifully painted in orange and the three of us Lia, Kim and me went out to the schools’ “little” forest which seems to be our secret base and there we saw Tony the puppy waiting for us (chuckled.) ^_^

“Well guys, let’s start our mission, you know you’re positions right? Lia?” started Kim

“Yes Master”

“Hmph! Here’s Kim acting all mighty, we haven’t selected our leader yet you know? ... though I know it will be him anyways(sigh)... I thought.

It seems our day ended nicely.
