Chapter 1- Why?

Why?

That's the thing every person thinks after a bad breakup, making the wrong choice, when someone says or does something or when you say or do something.

In my case a breakup is what started it all. The questions that never got answered, the looks from people walking past me at school, the friends I lost and the days spent in bed with only sad romantic movies and chocolates to keep me company.

Then there was the big deforce of my parents. My mum found my dad cheating on her with someone at work one day. Apparently he was cheating on her since the week they had my baby brother. Thee deforce got messy and my dad ended up with nothing but 1/2 of the money they had, where as mum got 1/2 of the money, the house, both the dogs and both my brother and I since her lawyer was an old friend of hers he did everything to help her.

Then the death of my mums dad and one of her sisters. They went out for lunch one day in the city and never came back that night and then on the 6 o'clock news there was apparently a shooting at a popular restaurant that killed most of the customers and some staff. When the tv showed the names of the people killed and both grandpa's and auntie Hannah's names were on the list the whole house was suddenly filled with cries. I took Braden who is my baby brother who was 2 1/2 at the time, into my room and shut the door to block out the noise, I told Bradedn that he needs his sleep and that he could sleep with me in my bed to night. Once he was asleep I stepped out of my room and is suddenly crushed into a hug by my mum. We spend most of the night crying but once everyone goes to bed it's suddenly quite and the questions start coming?

Why us?

Why that restaurant?

Why did Grandpa and Auntie Hannah go today?

Why did they shot?

And the list goes on...

Ohh... By the way I'm Abigail Freeman, I'm a 17 year old girl who lives in Ottawa, Canada. I have brown hair, tan skin and brown eyes boring right? Well that's just the way I am and I can't change it now. I absolutely LOVE to dance and sing it's like my escape from this bad dream we all call reality. I have a little brother Braeden who is 3 turning 4 in about 3 months, he has short brown hair, light tan skin and hazel eyes just like my dad. My mum has brown hair, tan skin and brown eyes just like me, she is only 36 and is single and ready to mingle. My family and I have been though a lot of sh*t (excuse my language) the past couple of years and lets just hope that things get better...

So anyway this is just the being of what's happening and what's going to happen... So please join my on the magical ride we call life and see where it takes my family and I...
