The HeartBroken

Chapter 9- The Play-over.

The weekend went quicker that I thought it would, I ended up getting two new outfits, The girls tried to get me to buy so many more outfits but I can't afford it at the moment. I mean I can afford them but I didn't want them so I told them I couldn't afford them.

Sunday afternoon I got up early around 7 and I went for a run, I usually I don't get up early and go for runs but the s'moring I woke up and couldn't get back to sleep so I grab a pair of leggings, sports bra and a bright pink sports top, I put on my bright yellow, pink and grey running shoes. I grabbed my ipod putting it on shuffle, put my hair up in a messy high pony tail. I jogged down the stairs and out the door, I ran around the block then explored a bit more, I found a park about three streets away, a forest like place two blocks away and a small shopping center four streets away. The shopping center was unlike the ones back in Canada it only had about 20 shops where the ones in Canada have about 30-40 plus food areas.

By the time I got home Braeden was up watching his favourite TV show, 'teenage mutant ninja turtles'. I hopped up to the third floor (My bedroom/mini house) and took a shower. With the hot water running down my body and my iPod still playing music just outside of the shower, I got lost in my only little world just thinking about everything and everyone.

Once out of the shower and dressed into some jeans, a crop top and a pair of turquoise vans, I left my hair in the pony tail, applied light foundation and mascara. I jogged down stairs and joined Braeden to watch his show.

"Hey monkey how you doing?" I asked grabbing him and placing him on my lap.

"Hehe, good, I have a play over today with a friend I made at school last week," he giggled playing with a couple of strands of hair that fell out of my pony tail.

"Ohh that's cool, Who is he?"

"He's name is Alex, he's the same age as me and we like the same things,"

"Like what monkey?"

"TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES!" He yelled. Jumping up and down.

"when? is he coming here or you going there?" I asked.

"1 and he's coming here" he was getting more excited by the minutes.

I looked at the clock next to the picture of me and Braeden at Christmas 2 years ago to see that it was 10 o'clock so I got up and made myself some breakfast which included 2 pieces of toast and some warm berries. Before I knew it, it was 12;55 and Braeden's friend Alex would be here so I cleaned up a little bit. I was startled by the door bell that rang very loudly and by the noise of two little feet rushing to get to the door as fast as possibly. I rushed after him lifting him and opening the door with a huge smile.

The person standing there looked about my age, to his left stood a little boy about the same age as Braeden, I'm guessing he is Alex he had light brown hair and chocolate brown eyes his smile was huge, he looked so excited to be here. As for the other boy he was tall and tan, he had brown hair like the little one but he had bright blue eyes and a great smile. He wore a worn out black leather jacket that had brown stains on the arms and dark blue almost black jeans with a pair of all black leather vans. He was GORGEOUS!

"Hi you must be Alex?" I said leaning down to the little one who nodded quickly with a huge smile. "Coming in!" I said moving aside to let him in. He rushed in and I let Braeden go, they ran up to his room. I was left there standing in front of a handsome boy.

"Hey I'm Xavier River it's nice to meet you," He said smiling brightly.

"oh Hey I'm Abigail Freeman, please come in," I said letting him pass and shutting the door behind him.

"So I'm guessing your Alex's brother? Want anything to drink?" I asked walking to the kitchen.

"Um yeah I am," He said not very confident and looking at the ground "and um I have to go soon so I'm fine thanks," He said sitting at the bar stool. "So I'll pick him up in about an hour is that fine with you?" he asked.

"yeah that's fine," I said grabbing a bottle of juice from the fridge opening the lid.

"Um.. I'm sorry I've got to go, I'm sorry," he spoke with a sad smile "But it was great to meet you" He stood up and moved to the door, I followed standing by the door as he reached his car.

"Hope to see you around," He said with a smile, next thing I know he's driving down the street. There was something about him that made me shiver with fear.

A half a hour later I find myself sitting in my brothers room play Lego with him and Alex, when Xavier left Braeden and Alex sat and watched about 6 episodes of teenage mutant ninja turtles, going though about 2 packs of chips and a pack of lollies between the three of us. Braeden and Alex ended up outside playing for the rest of the time, which was about twenty minutes. I ended up in my 'mini house' out on the balcony just watching them have fun, remembering what it was like when I was little and the most important thing was making sure you didn't miss your favourite TV show, I suddenly realized how much my life has changed in the past couple of years.

Once Xavier came to pick up Alex Braeden fell asleep on the couch so I gently picked him up and carried him to his bedroom and tucked him into his bed and placed his stuffed teddy bear named Leo named after Leonardo, the leader of the 'teenage mutant ninja turtles'. The teddy bear is fairly worn out, there's patches on the body where he's been torn and I had to fix, it has a black spot around it's left eye and a red knitted nose and a cute little smile on its face. He got Leo when he was not even one, he didn't name it until last year we used to call it teddy.

Mum got home around 11pm due to the night shift she had to do work, her job is really good and she's loving it, I'm pretty sure she's a personal assistant in a massive business, her pay us pretty good and her shifts are normally about 7/7:30am to about 5 maybe 6pm.

Overall I think we've all settled in Australia, and I'm actually liking it here my friends are amazing and the temperature is really nice, I can finally wear bikinis and short sleeve tops! yay.
