"Okay, we're on our way!" Emma replied very worried.
"Who was that love?" Killian ased.
"It's Regina. She said that the forest was on fire, and she's trapped." Emma replied.
Emma and Killian rush to the woods to find Emma's parents already there. David is on the phone with Regina trying to figure out where she is so they can rescue her.
"Have you guys figure out where she is yet?" Emma asked.
"She's somewhere close. She said that she is near the main road leading into Storybrooke." Mary Margaret replied.
"What about her magic, can't she magic herself out of there?" Killian suggests.
"She can't focus on her magic. She says she can barely breath with all the smoke." David replies.
"Well come on! We have to go find her." Killian replies and with that he runs straight into the burning trees and brush.
By the time Killian finally found Regina she was unconscious and shallowly breath. Killian rushed to her and tried to shake her awake but it was no use. He picked her up and began rushing back the way he came. When he made it out of the woods. David, Emma and Mary Margaret were all still standing there.
"Swan call Gold and get him to come put out the fire." Killian stated. He then turned to David and said, "We need to get Regina to the hospital, NOW!"
Killian climbed into the back of David's sheriff car with Regina draped across his lap. David got in the driver's seat and took off with the lights and sirens blaring.
"Come on love, wake up." Killian whispered quietly as he brushed his calloused fingers over her soft cheeks. He lightly pulled her hair out of her face, looking for a glimpse of life within her.
When Killian and David finally made it to the hospital they both rushed Regina in, yelling at the nurses to get Dr.Whale. One nurse lead then to a room when Killian laid Regina down on one of the hospital cots. When Whale came in the nurses forced David and Killian out of the room.
David sat quietly in one of the chairs, while Killian paced nervously. After a long while Emma finally arrived, joining the guys in the waiting area. "Gold put out the fire." Emma said.
"That's good." David replied
"Hey Killian, we need to talk?" She stated coldly.
"Conversations that start like that never end well." Killian sighed as he followed the blonde down a hallway.
"What were you thinking?" Emma yelled.
"What do you mean? I was trying to save Regina." Killian replied.
"By putting your own life in danger?" Emma replied.
"I thought that's what a hero does." Killian argued. "Emma, we can't be having this conversation now. We need to be focused on Regina's health."
"Regina this, Regina that. Is she all you care about these days." Emma snapped.
"I'm not going to apologize for caring about an old friend." Killian said before turning around. "See you later Swan."
Killian stomped back to the waiting room where David still sat, with Mary Margaret, who had recently joined him.
"Everything alright?" David asked.
"Not now mate." Killian replied quietly.
After some time of pacing around it was getting late, and Killian had fallen asleep in a chair. One of the nurses that had been helping to care for Regina had just come out. David immediately woke Killian up.
"How is she? Is she alright?" Mary Margaret asked.
"She going fine. She had a few minor burns and a lot of smoke in her lungs. She's resting but you can go see her if you'd like." The nurse replied.
They all nodded eagerly, so the nurse lead them back to Regina's room. She was laying on one of the cots peacefully. Mary Margaret softly knocked on the door frame to let her know that they were here.
Regina sat up groggily looking at them, "Oh, come in."
"How are you feeling?" David asked concerned.
"I'm okay." Regina replied with a raspy voice. "How did you guys even find me?"
"Well this guy was the one that found you. Ran right into the burning forest to get you." David said patting Killian on the shoulder.
"Thank you Killian," Regina replied sweetly, gausing into his deep blue eyes.
"All in the days work for a hero." Killian said.
The next morning Killian left the Jolly Rodger early to go looking for the mystery girl. He retraced some of his steps from the other day, when he spotted a head full of red hair sitting on the edge of the docks.
He slowly creep up behind the young lady with his sword drawn. When he was right behind her, Killian grabbed the girl and help the sword to her throat. "Don't move!" He whispered into her ear.
Killian pulled her to her feet and led her to a wall, where he turned her around and pinned her to it, still holding the sword to her throat.
"Please don't hurt me!" she cried.
"Who are you and why are you here?" Killian asked.
"I'm... I'm Kate" she replied with a stutter.
"What do you want?"
"I'm trying to find my father." Kate answered, still whining in fear.
"Who is you father?" Killian asked sternly.
"Captain Hook."
