Five Nights at Freddy's (Natemare Story)

Night Four (Part 2)

Closing both doors, Lily checked each room as quickly as possible. Seeing Foxy slowly making his way out of his area, she gripped her knife tightly.

"Who the hell would want this job?" She asked herself, answering it right away. "Crazy people..."

The camera blacked out, seeing he got closer to it. She could still hear the faint music of Freddy, meaning he was also getting closer.

A sudden idea came to mind, one she didn't exactly like, but it's a way to save whatever is left of power. Opening both doors, she stood in the middle of the room by the desk.

"Alright you creepy bastards!" She shouted, spreading her arms wide. "Come and get me!"

Silence greeted her for a long while, and she was about to give up when she heard footsteps. But they were fast footsteps, meaning Foxy was paying a visit.

"I'm not afraid..I'm not afraid.." She repeated quietly when she saw Foxy stop by the doorway, staring at her curiously. Not taking her eyes off of him, the lights began to flicker, feeling as if her heart jumped to her throat. Watching him slowly and stiffly move forward, the smile stuck on his face was menacing, but she kept her fear down.

She heard more of them, the jingle even louder when the familiar bear with the black top hat peeked through the door. Raising her knife, she slashed at Foxy, but only sparks flew off of him, not getting a reaction. Trying again, she was unaware of Bonnie until he gave that high pitch scream behind her.

"AGGHHH!" Lily yelled, falling to her knees, her ears ringing. They were all now in the room, surrounding her until suddenly, they froze, their arms stuck in the position to grab her. Looking up, their eyes were shut. Did they run out of power? Was this their limit? Could they not go any further?

"Alright alright, play time is over." She heard a voice say, seeing a shadow step between them, their black hair in their face, blue streaks running down either side of their cheeks. "Go on back, kids. You've had your fun."

They all opened their eyes, walking away as if she wasn't even there anymore. The person offered her a hand, and she took it, letting them help her stand up.

"This doesn't mean anything, sweetheart." He said. "Just helping you not die."

"Well it means something to me.." Lily said. "So thanks.."

His shoulders tensed for a second. "It's nothing..."

She got a closer look at him. "I swear I've seen you somewhere. Do you work here?"

"No." He said immediately. "I just..noticed the commotion and came here to put the kids back to bed."

Raising an eyebrow, she took a step back. "Who are you?"

He smiled. "They call me Natemare."

With that, he vanished back into the shadows.

Surprisingly, the rest of the night went on without anything horrible. It was like whatever that man did, Natemare or whatever, did something that made them not come back out for the remainder of the shift. Looking at the time, it just hit 6am, and Mike came back in.

"Heyo, Lily." He said, setting his stuff down as she finished packing hers up. "Everything go okay?"

Looking back at him, she didn't even hesitate. "No..everything most certainly did not go okay."

"What happened?"

"Oh nothing just...what happens every other damn night when these...these animatronics try to kill me all the time!" She snapped. "Oh and did I mention I almost died last night because of them? Then some weird guy happens to shut them down at the last possible second."

Mike raised an eyebrow. "Who was that?"

Lily lifted a shoulder. "He said it was Natemare...which is the strangest name I've heard.."

His shoulders bunched up slightly when he laughed a little. "Lily, there's nobody else here but you. Must've been in your head or something."

"Oh no he was real." She said. "Like I said he basically saved my life..which I guess it doesn't really mean anything to him..I don't know he's just...creepy..."

Taking a couple steps forward, he placed a hand on her shoulder, and she couldn't help but notice his hand was very similar to Natemare's.

"Lily, I can promise you that there is nobody else in here at night but you. Now why don't you head on home and get some shuteye."

Letting out a heavy sigh, she nodded, his hand slipping off of her. Picking up her stuff she headed out of the building, immediately grabbing her phone out of her pocket, dialing Mark's number. Surprisingly, he picked up on the second ring.

"Hey.." He said, his voice raspy.

"Did I wake you?" She asked.

"Nah, I woke up a few minutes ago." He said, sounding like he was sitting up in his bed. "So what's up?"

She got into her car. "Listen..last night something happened that hasn't happened before."

Mark scoffed. "Now what?"

Starting her car up, she buckled herself in. "I tried explaining this to Mike but..he didn't believe me..so they were all in my office. All the animatronics. But just before they could get their hands on me, they shut down. And there was this...weird man that came up to me, but I couldn't really see his face.."

"And?" Mark asked.

"And...he basically saved my life because he shut them down...and what's even more strange..is that he said something kinda odd..."

"What'd he say?"

"He said...his name is Natemare...ever heard of that?"

"I don't think so." He said. "Doesn't sound familiar to me..but Lily...I think this job is making you go nuts because those things don't even hurt you. And I've told you this a thousand times."

"Yet you said you'll come with me if this continues to happen." She brought up yet again. "So how about you come tonight. You won't think I'm crazy afterwards."

She heard Mark huff on the other end. "Alright..fine."

"I'll be there at 11:30 tonight." Lily said, and hung up the phone.

As she drove home, his words kept ringing in her head.

They call me Natemare.

A/N: Hey everyone. I'm very sorry this takes forever to update. I recently got a new job and I haven't gotten a ton of time off yet. Also I had writers block for this as well, since this is my 1st attempt at a Natemare story. I'm sorry it's kinda all over the place but I promise in the next couple chapters things'll fall into place. More is coming soon.
